We visited twice – once for dinner and once for dessert. The cocktails were great and added excitement. We ordered several shareable items. The popcorn had good flavor, but was stale. I was surprised that we were not offered fresh popcorn. We were also served extremely hard bread for the bone marrow. When we pointed it out, they did bring us a fresh loaf.

We walked in at 6:15 on a Wednesday without reservations and after being let through the green velvet rope, we were seated at the table closest to the door which seemed odd since there were only 2 other people in the restaurant in the dining room. There were more people in the bar. As the sun set, the light was challenging in this particular spot and I felt like I needed my sunglasses.

A great find. No reservations walk in only. Small and busy so can be difficult to get in but we went on a Thursday. The food is unique and fun. Staff is great and service is good. Our group only had drinks, appetizers and salads. Wish we tried some of the meals but we didn’t have the stomach room. Loved it and we will be back.

Fanciful and imaginative cocktails served in a beautiful bar right across the street from the park.

Found The Alchemists’ Garden in Paso Robles by accident, and what a wonderful accident. Everything we ordered was beyond amazing and cooked perfectly. I love tapas-style eating, which is great for sharing, and The Alchemists’ Garden delivers. We shared everything from the yummy and slightly spicy kale salad to our entrees of pork chops and coffee rubbed skirt steak and then the best panna cotta I have ever eaten. The black Himalayan salt sprinkle is divine coupled with the creamy Tahitian vanilla of the panna cotta. The cocktails were also made well, with good ingredients, and it was fun to watch the bartenders work. We’re already planning our next trip to The Alchemists’ Garden.

Paso Robles is not just about wine. It is also about the experience of food and mixing drinks. There is no better place than the Alchemist Gardens. The drinks literally sparkle and flame, and sometimes smoke. Not only do they have exquisitely mixed and presented drinks but their bar food is very good. My recommendation is to go on taco Tuesday. This is when the tacos are a little less expensive, but are amazing in taste.

We previously had an appetizer and drink after attending an event but went back to enjoy the whole experience. Our waiter was a delight and provided excellent service. We started with drinks, including the Zodiac special for Cancer, a French 75 and a local beer. The Zodiac special was tasty and the French 75 equally so. It’s hard to find a French 75 made correctly and this one was spot-on! We ordered the croquette of the day appy and it was good but could have used a little salt or other seasoning. On to the main event… vegetable lasagna, salmon, and shrimp tacos. The vegetable lasagna – was good and likely a nice choice for low carb guests since the “pasta” was cabbage. It had great flavor! The salmon was cooked perfectly atop a succotash filled with flavorful and seasonal veggies. The beurre blanc sauce was the special touch. Finally, the shrimp tacos for the Taco Tuesday special were larger than a street taco and with a spicy slaw added. So good! We will definitely come back when the seasonal menu changes!

Last minute reservation at The Remedy (speakeasy) last Saturday, while friends were in town- and the 4 of us had the most surprising and AMAZING experience with Mr. Troy Tucker. Troy is a genius beverage maker (biochemist) and gifted/talented entertainer. We plan to make reservations and bring all our out of town guests here to meet him and enjoy a fantastic evening of pleasure. Thank you, Troy !!!

Very cool bar with well thought out drinks. One of the more modern, fun spots in Paso Robles to try. I only got drinks here, so haven’t had a chance to try the food yet but I thought the drinks were awesome. Super cool vibe, definitely worth a stop when in Paso. I’d be interested in trying the food one day as the menu seems super unique!
