The Alden and Chef Jared did an amazing job making us feel special on our anniversary. The chef’s tasting menu is one of the best we have tried! Every piece was curated to make you say, “ Oh man, that’s delicious!” The wine pairing was close to perfect as well. Our server Mike was kind and new his wines! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

We went to the Alden to celebrate our anniversary. It’s tucked away on Peachtree Blvd in Chamblee in a residential complex along with a few other restaurants and cafes.

The food had good presentation. Nicole, our waitress, was fabulous. Give her a raise. All the food had wonderful flavor. I would just suggest the cheese plate have more fresh fruit instead of dried fruit.

Absolutely amazing experience! We were celebrating our anniversary at the Alden. The service was excellent and the food was super delicious and full of surprises. Most dishes in our tasting menu were Asian inspired and we really enjoyed it. Some combinations of the ingredients were very unique and innovative, and the flavor was complex and rich. I believe the chef must spend a lot of time and effort designing the menu. Highly recommend this place! We will definitely come back to try more things.

The parking area is tight but they have valet, so it’s all good. The entrance door is small and on the side of the restaurant so we walked to the wrong side and wrong door at first.

The Alden. Chef Jared Hucks’s pedigree includes Arzak, Noma, and Bacchanalia. Usually we go for the Chef’s Tasting Menu (highly recommend!), but we were lured this time by the a la carte menu (also highly recommend!). With so many pieces to each dish, he’s inviting you to play with your food and try different taste combos. Sharing is encouraged. Treat yourself.

Chef owned/operated gem fusing Asian flavors that got us wanting to come back for try the chef’s tasting. Everything was so beautifully plated like something from a food show. But the taste was what blew us away with awesome sauces and creative combinations. Katsu was crips and light. Seasonal carrot salad was superbly accompanied by the beautiful sauces. Snappy yet chewy bucatini for the veggie butternut squash bolognese which also had a strong and rich garlic flavor that Elly recognized the single clove garlic. And couldn’t get enough of the oyster Tom Kah which was not a soup but the most addictive coconut sauce on the oyster. Still drooling just thinking about it, would love to get a dozen or more. Since it was Lunar New Year, we had to try the Lunar chocolate truffles and was blown away so much that we also ordered the deconstructed Apple Cobbler right afterwards. Definite feast for the eyes on top of the taste buds. Can’t wait to get our chef’s tasting experience soon.

First I’d like to thank my new friends at Evermark in Suwanee, George and Andrew for treating me to this fine establishment! The food here was fantastic! We started with the Foie Gras which was a treat as was the Bangs island mussel au gratin and a variety of cheese, bread and jelly. Pork belly was nice and flavorful! The Jerk flounder was light and flaky with nice flavor! The Purple sweet potato ravioli was very good and also full of flavor! For dessert, we finished with Banana bread pudding, sorbet and chocolate dessert with rich decaf coffee! I would definitely recommend this place!

The Alden is such an amazing restaurant, I’m surprised it isn’t packed every night. The chefs are not afraid to use ingredients that aren’t commonly used and they use them SO well. They menu changes often and the dishes are always so good and they have great cocktails and wines to pair.
