I must say you can smell the pizza down the block. It was extremely quick and the gentleman that took our order also made the pizza right in front of us, fresh, said it would take approximately 10 minutes but it was more like 5. The pizza was hot and fresh. The charcoal taste on the crust was superb. Crispy but soft crust made this pie. The sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. The meat assortment was perfect. Overall this pizza was really amazing, definitely the best in the area. Would recommend to anyone who loves pizza. Will be going back to try the other pies. 10/10 would recommend.

American style pizza. crust is crunchy and the taste of the sauce very good. The plain pizza was a bit on the sour side, which is just right for my liking. The pizza with the topping (not pepperoni) was a bit heavy and the flavors didn’t add up as perfectly as for the plain version. Nevertheless I had a good experience at Angelo and would definitely stop by for another visit if I am in the area.

Prices are too expensive, spendt 20$+ tip for a small 12′ NOT pepperoni pizza. It tasted a bit dull, more saucy and a bit sweet. Crust was a bit charred, which I liked and makes it a unique pie. I do appreciate that you can see them make it fresh and roll out the dough.

Crust had no flavor. Crust had a weird simultaneous mix of un-erectness at the point, while having a crunch at the back end. Gum line existed between the sauce and crust. Dough management strategies could be improved.

This pizza is incredible. This is my first time in Philadelphia and I’ve never had pizza like this. The crust is crisp, the sauce is perfect with lots of garlic and spices, and the toppings are outstanding, especially the sausage and the real Italian pepperoni (soppressata)
