I called in a takeout order this evening and i decided to go with their special and I am glad I did! Nothing hits the spot better than a REAL hand pattied hamburger! Cooked perfectly too! And check out their brand on the bun! That’s just cool! Great experience from the moment they answered the phone. Quick and very friendly service. Will definitely go back!

Well thought out establishment. Under the new ownership they thought of everything including USB ports at the bar for charging your phone. Excellent beer garden with a bandstand for those nights they have a live band. Great food, I enjoy the ribeye steak dinner with the salad bar at the lowest price I have found around. I can tell they really strive to keep customers coming back. This place is worth the drive. I highly recommend trying this place out for yourself. The movie theater is in walking distance to take in a movie.

Go pay this place a visit whenever you can. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff/management was great. Prime rib was well worth the money. Drinks were very reasonable. And just as everywhere right now very hard to find help but even short on staff they were able to accommodate our very large family and never missed a thing.

I visited the Anvil on a Sunday along with a group of 12 people. After we were seated we found out that the fare for lunch was buffet with a salad bar. Salad bar was excellent with crisp mixed greens, huge array of dressings and toppings along with choice of a few garden veggies. The buffet had many choices including a breakfast offering of scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Other entries were chicken, mashed potatoes, ham, warm vegetables and chicken strips. Had desserts as well. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Will visit again on my next trip.

Stopping in town for the event in Wellfleet and found this great place! In and out in under 40 minutes. Cassidy is a fantastic waitress and food was fabulous. Drinks were cold and delicious as well. Thank you for a great meal!
