The Arepa Place specializes in a Colombian and Venezuelan dish known as arepas, which we make the traditional way! First, we boil and grind the corn. After kneading the dough, we make the patties and then grill them. The arepa is cut open and stuffed with your choice of mozzarella cheese, black beans, fried plantains, steak, chorizo, and/or chicken. We also have breakfast arepas! Each arepa comes with one of our homemade salsas. We also serve delicious empanadas made from freshly ground corn. These corn pockets are stuffed with mozzarella cheese, shredded chicken, ground beef, or potato and eggplant before being deep-fried. Lastly, we also offer side dishes of sweet plantains or plantain chips with salsa and/or guacamole.

The foods is so flavored and well cooked. The staff are fast and friendly. I enjoyed the experience. Very busy during dinner time. But it’s worth the wait. Can be pricey for large families. But again worth the money to spend. Please come and have a great arepa by yourself or family. Happy place to chill.

Sooo good!! We just tried it out as a quick dinner after our kids’ tournament since we don’t live close. The Arepas were just spectacular, tasty, and the salsas…yum!! The kid working the front who greeted us was especially friendly, welcoming and helpful! We would definitely return for more if we’re back in this area. Highly recommend!

The Arepa Place is a Colombian fare restaurant located just to the right of the east facing main entrance to Findlay Market. Ordered the Arepona, a light crispy pocket filled with seasoned steak, shredded chicken, black beans, and plantains served with a cilantro and a cream sauce. We also ordered a beef empanada and a chicken empanada. All three were so incredibly flavorful. It was much more than I anticipated in terms of flavor and satisfaction. Owner, Isis, takes pride in her business and it shows in the cleanliness and presentation. Can’t wait to take the rest of the family. Seating is limited. Not a full service diner which is the reason for 4 stars. Walk in, order and wait for them to call your name, then take to-go or dine at their counter. Visit on a beautiful day and enjoy the outdoor seating. They also have another location in Wyoming, Ohio.

A standalone store with a nice selection of tasty bite that you don’t find at other places. They have a bar in the back (we came at lunch and didn’t enquire about service). Best choice is the loaded Cheese Arepa with meat and toppings piled high. Empanadas were like fried polenta with a tamale filling.

The service was quick, the store associates were friendly and professional. The food left some to be desired. I’m not in the Cincinnati area too often, so when I am I like to order from local restaurants and not chains. I made a simple order for an arepa with chorizo, and a side of salsa blanca.

Looking for a new spot with amazing food… THIS IS IT! Delicious Columbian food with a great atmosphere, awesome drinks, and a cute little patio where they have live music on the weekends. If you’ve never had an arepa… don’t go anywhere else to try one. This place cannot be beat. Love, Love, Love It!!!
