Food was good, but nothing special. I had the patty melt with sweet potato fries. My meat patty was only about half the size of the bread it came on and I barely got any fries. My friends enjoyed their food, but also said it wasn’t anything special.

This place is awesome! We got take out. First of all everything was delicious! We got 2 appetizers, 2 dinners and key lime cheesecake. It was under $34. We will definitely be eating here again! Loved it!!!!

First time at the Ashen Rose. There was a very nice lady server with great personality. Went above and beyond, my friend ordered the wings and said they were great. 3 stars because my burger meat had a funny smell and was kind of disgusted by it, I wish that for beer they had an option of bigger glasses. Price was good. I would come back for those wings.

I forgot to take food photos! I ordered chicken fried bacon and a fried bologna sandwich. Two, for me, choices if things I’d normally not eat. But. They were both likely insalubrious, I at least did not eat all of it. It was actually enough for two people and for a minimal price. This restaurant is pub style with a main dining area with 10-12 different sized tables and seating at the bar. A separate room contains a pool table which I could see from the entrance but I didn’t enter. In cooler weather, there is outside seating.

This is the only decent place in downtown Greenville, amazing for a city of it’s size.

We were visiting the area and happened upon The Ashen Rose by chance. We were very pleased we did. My French Toast Combo was very good and the potatoes were cooked perfectly (I always request a little crispy!). At the table we also had a build-your-own omelet and another person had pancakes. All very good. We had to try/share an order of chicken-fried bacon which led to a huge debate of whether you dip in syrup or not (the reviewer is a staunch keep the salty and sweet separate guy!).

Menu items online are not available. Jalapeno poppers and chicken I could have got from the Walmart freezer section. Meal had a child sized hand full of fries. Onion rings where amazing. Bartender, and the guy that took my order where not very friendly. Ranch wrap was more like a plain sloppy taco. Fish was burnt. I was so excited to try this place. Do not recommend
