I was visiting from Milwaukee and came here with a friend. It was one of few establishments open at the time in East Madison. The bartender was super friendly and made a great Old Fashioned. He gave some history of the building as well as a free drink chip for the next time I’m in town. I would definitely patron this place again!

A great small local bar. Just had a drink with my mom to celebrate mothers day. She is a huge fan of this place. Looks like they do live music, singing, and shows here. There was darts, pool, and video games as well. Parking is on the street. And they had an atm machine inside. Looks like a popular little place. Staff was really good to us.

Great bar. Great condition. Most bars around are old and dated. This place got a refresher. Service with a smile. Bloody Mary’s are very tasty. Free food on Sunday. Can’t go wrong trying it out. You may find your new Bloody Sunday place. Highly recommend it.

We joined a friend and the annual easter bonnet pub crawl. Made a stop at The atwood. They keep doing a little more eveytime i stop in to make this place better. Bartenders still party with the people!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon and immediately got rude comments from the bartender for asking if they could make a particular drink I’d heard of from a friend. Horrible service, and acted like I was crazy for trying to pay with my card, groaning and pointing at their ATM. Most rude bartender I’ve encountered in Madison. Dead vibes in there anyways. Maybe they don’t like newcomers, which is fine cause I won’t ever be back.

Not exactly a dive, but not very far from it. Convenient for the Barrymore crowd. I wouldn’t choose this place as somewhere to impress a date. It’s a spot for friends to get together and have a few.
