Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday after antiquing. The food was very good and fresh. I got the Ruben and tots. Tots were crispy! The service was fast, and the servers were awesome. They were fun and sassy! Loved it! We sat out on the patio, and it was just relaxing! We will for sure stop here again the next time we go antiquing.

If pubs are your thing, this might be good. For me, it was unnecessarily LOUD with average but EXPENSIVE food and poor service due to the poor bartender having to serve the dining room too. I’ll say this though — the fries were fantastic, but the serving size was awfully small for the price.

We loved the “ACP”, Aurora Colony Pub, as we came to call it. In town for a wedding we were staying at a local Air BnB and used the ACP for a pit stop watering hole and lottery ticket Re-upper. Friendly people, fast service and quality food. If we lived closer, we would be by more often! Thanks for the hospitality to this group of Ohioans.

First time visiting colony pub and happy to say it was a great experience. We were welcomed and told we may sit anywhere in the building, bar side outside patio or a more quiet family type setting. We were waited on right away. My husband ordered the homemade spaghetti with salad and garlic bread, I ordered the prime rib with homemade mashed potatoes with good brown gravy and the best green beans ever… it also came with a very nice fresh salad and garlic bread. The prime rib was perfect. We brought half the meals home due to so much food. So no cooking for me a second night in a row… a win win for me! We will return to try the chicken fried steak on Wednesday and taco night on Tuesday. Thank you colony pub for a wonderful meal!

Came in this evening with a party of several people, once we arrived, the bartender Susan was right on top of our service and made every effort to accommodate us. Now mind you, this was while two other parties were also going on at the exact same time, and yet Susan had no difficulty making sure everybody was taken care of in a timely manner. And if I forgot to mention it, the bar was also packed as well. I’m not sure what you’re paying this woman but it needs to be more. Let’s not forget that there was one cook back there absolutely killing it! In our opinion, this is absolutely the dream team of all servers! Friendly, respectful, patient, as as stated above, more than accommodating! Because of this type of service, we will definitely be back on a regular basis! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We loved the colony but the last few times we have gone the awesome service we were getting is gone. The bar wasn’t even that busy but we waited for our drinks which sat behind me for a good 10 minutes then only had our order taken after saying we were ready to order. Same thing with the other people who were there. The food was brought to us by the busser. I’ve worked in the food industry, I understand when it’s busy but it genuinely felt like the family side got ignored. We were really disappointed when we left.

We went there for a birthday party at a reserved large table in the back for 10 people, which was nice. This restaurant has a large bar area, a dining room, and then a small little area with a one big table for 10 people next to the bathrooms. The bathrooms are one person ladies and men’s rooms. The problem was that they didn’t have enough staff to service the whole restaurant and bar. We ended up waiting a very long time to be served and again to receive the food. The orders came out wrong and not at all for two people. The waitress was very nice about it all but was too busy serving the bar crowd to pay much attention to us. I had to get up several times to ask for service.

Some friends and I eat here every Taco Tuesday. The tacos are great! Alex is often our server and he usually has our table prepped, he knows our drinks and our “usuals”. He makes it a fun atmosphere! Susan is also helpful and fun.
