I’ve been on a bit of a tenderloin kick lately, so I drove down the road to The Bank Restaurant for their “Pendleton Tender”. It’s their “Big Porker” tenderloin with pepper jack cheese, BBQ sauce & bacon. It’s a good sized sandwich- not a “fold in half” tenderloin, but it was definitely bigger than the bun. The pepperjack, bacon, and bbq toppings were a good addition to the sandwich. They didn’t have pickled jalapeños (a personal favorite addition to my tenderloins), but they offered some fresh jalapeños and vinegar. I give them an A+ for the extra effort!

So I haven’t been to the bank since almost when they opened, so I was excited to go back. I got the grilled chicken salad, this was on a Monday around 2:30 in the afternoon. A little understaffed, but that was OK we were in no hurry. my salad came out. I began to eat it. The lettuce was all from a bag and it tasted horrible. I only ate the cucumbers of the salad and the chicken. 1499, I expected so much better and so much fresher. I told the waitress that the lettuce was an edible and it was absolutely pretty disgusting and I was sure it was came from my bag. And I was very disappointed. She said all I’m so sorry. That was the end and we left. it is very rare that I ever ever complain about my food, but I could not leave without voicing my opinion on this disgusting salad that cost $14.99.

The fried green tomatoes are to die for and the breaded tenderloin is delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and our server Darren was knowledgeable about the menu. He went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dinning experience.

First time here, and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing, the server was nice and very attentive, and the booths were roomy! Prices were mid range and well worth it considering quality and quantity. There were 4 of us, and we had cheese curds and breaded mushrooms to start. Meals were Rueben, pot roast, cowboy cheesesteak, and huge tenderloin. We all loved our food!

I have to be honest. I didn’t really expect much when we stopped here for lunch but it was surprisingly really good. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The seasoning also had the perfect amount of heat. Come hungry because their sandwiches are big. I’ll definitely check this place out again when I’m in the area.

My wife and I have been to the bank a few times since we moved to Pendleton and at first we enjoyed the small town atmosphere and food. Tonight we stopped in for dinner and unfortunately the service was well below par and the food was not at all up to standard. I had ordered the 12oz ribeye which on the menu they price it as “market value.” Ok that’s fine I know meat has gone up in price. When I got my steak it had all the grill charred crustings all over it. Which that is from not scraping and cleaning the grill. That’s all I could taste was charred meat. Very bad taste. Our server was very unattentive to not only our table but to most of her tables. She had forgotten parts of our meal for one. We never got refills on our drinks. She never really just stopped by to ask how things were. Over all I was not very impressed with tonight’s meal.

First time there,and the experience was super, sat up staris had wine and potato skins they were outstanding, yummy and the bartender was awesome and attentive,and the owner was super nice ! So you must go get the great food , and go to the bathroom to experience the art work it’s great !!!!

Man oh man, manager even made sure he came and talked us and talked to our kids like his family we loved the food and will be back based on that manager/ owner alone. Thanks for one of our best lunch’s in a long time.

Great food but it takes forever to get it sat about 35-40 mins waiting service was ok but it’s the fry’s it’s weird cause this place has the same fry’s as ralleys best part of the meal hands down
