They put UFC pay per view on which is a HUGE bonus. The service was great and the place was busy but the food still came out promptly. Tasted great, salads were generous portions and they had good specials as well. We’re from out of town and were staying in Appleton for the Packers game. Would definitely stop by again when in town.

Very accommodating staff. Set up our group up to play bags in the volleyball ball courts before bags started. Macy did a great job servicing our group of people for appetizers and drinks. Then we ordered pizzas. Food was very good. Ranch and blue cheese dressing were very good too!!

We eat here almost everytime we are in Appleton. The gluten free food is great. The service is always good with very friendly staff. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We usually sit in the dining room. There are a few tvs in there which always have good things to watch.

We go to The Bar weekly for coed volleyball. The food is great. Volleyball league rules and league in general could use some work. Rules seem made up for no apparently reasons. We don’t drink at The Bar. At $6 for even a Busch Light CAN, our team usually meets up at a different bar or a teammate’s house instead of coming early or staying after a game for a drink.

My wife and I went Sunday afternoon after they announced it at the Timber rattlers game. We were in the mood for wings. We sat at the bar and ordered beers and waters and asked for menus at the Bar. We were never asked for anything else after that. We finished our beers and asked for my card. Paid the tab and left. Alicia seemed more interested in looking into the mirror at herself then taking care of customers. Needless to say it’s been awhile since I’ve been there but will not go back anytime soon. It was staffed with plenty of help as it was not very busy. It appeared most people came from the Timberattlers game.

Usually I wouldn’t leave an honest review of a restaurant, but I know The Bar is a staple of the valley area, so one bad review will literally change nothing for them as a business. However, honesty hour here: My wife and I got wings (boneless and bone in) my bone in wings were flats only, kind of annoying. They were also SWIMMING in sauce. Like I literally needed a bath halfway through, it was so excessive. They also had minimal meat on them. You pay so much for wings now a days, you’d like for them to be worth it. My wife’s boneless wings were another story. We thought they were meatballs. They tasted like meatballs and resembled meatballs in shape. By the end I was looking for anything to convince me they weren’t meat balls. We also got some wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks (only kind on the menu). They just kinda didn’t taste like anything. No real flavor of any kind. Also, they cost like $13-14? That seemed excessive for a run of the mill appetizer like mozzarella sticks.

I haven’t eaten inside yet but I can say every time I swing by to pick up my wings this place always does me great and the staff is very friendly. The wings are my favorite and only place I usually order from. If you have time swing by and try the wings and grab a beer
