This is my top 2 places in CT, #1 is different food, I’m Mexican so I like intense flavors… this place is amazing, all of the appetizers are worth it: pork belly, sword fish, and oysters are amazing, they have happy hour deals!… love the 2 bartenders…Patrick and Angeline are soooooo nice, and they make best cocktails on the area! Don’t miss this place, I definitely recommend

We went to @ The Barn for Happy Hour. Service was attentive and pleasant. Food did not disappoint! Highly recommend going to happy hour here, the menu is a la carte and the drink specials are worth the stop. If you are a seafood fan, the oysters can’t be beat and those happy hour prices are a steal! I also recommend the mussels and skewers.

First time coming here and we had a Wonderful dinner – from start to finish. Appetizers were delicious. We got buttermilk boneless wings (Buffalo), crab cakes, and oysters. Entrees we’re portioned perfectly and each dish was unique and tasty. I loved the Brussel sprouts and sweet potato noodles. Cheesecake and a brownie sundae for dessert. We left super full lol but very happy with our first trip here. Highly recommend and will be back in the future.

Stopped in after landing at Bradley airport for Saturday brunch. Very comfortable sitting at the bar. Ordered a delicious Western omelette and buffalo chicken wrap along with 2 glasses of white wine . Bartender very nice

Delicious. Big outdoor patio with heaters comfortable and inviting. Bathrooms near entrance. Parking is tight but other parking available across from restaurant. Inside is open and full of colors and accent lighting. Ordered martini and g&t both excellent. Priced around $10 each. Rice bowl with Korean barbecue shrimp not overly spiced. Light a bit of heat and filling. $19. Salmon with cauliflower, long sliced sweat potato, mushroom, balsamic glaze. This is a must try. Light, flavorful, each of the foods is distinct yet blends well. $28. Good size portion. Rye whiskey with bitters. $10. Very good. A bit sweet a bit fruity with the heat of the whiskey. Wait staff quick professional friendly.

First time there, food and service were really good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tuesday night and was very busy. Only downside is a little noisy. The plating and the presentation and the spice choices were quite good. Even a simple cheese platter appetizer turned into a diverse palette pleaser. Definitely going back to explore more.

This was my girlfriend and my first time going to The Barn. We did the $125 Valentines Day special. It was a prix fixe menu. I did the flank steak and she did the shrimp and scallops. The steak was perfectly cooked. They nailed the scallops. (I tried a bite, they were delicious). We did the grilled focaccia and fried oysters, which were both very good too. We did the strawberry cheese cake and lava cake for desert. The lava cake was by far our favorite. This special also came with a bottle of wine. It was a cheaper wine which is what you can expect for these types of specials. For the price this meal was definitely worth the money. We both love mussels so we splurged and bought an additional that was not on the prix fixe menu.
