Service is slow, food is mediocre, and the restaurant is not clean. There were two children of an employee serving food, going into the kitchen with their long hair down, and rolling the silverware. Kitchen could definitely use a deep clean

Have driven by here many times and talked about stopping there to eat sometime. Today we did. Came around lunchtime. We waited quite awhile but they had a nice little crowd so not a big deal until I saw them delivering food ti someone that came after us. Kept watching what the cook was making but none of it was ours. Saw the waitress looking at the orders and you could tell she didn’t see our order hanging. Then the waitress came over after a half hour or more wait and said … ‘could you remind me again what you ordered?’

It was “blizzard” and I needed to wait for an appointment. The Barn was open so I stopped in. The food was really good and the staff was warm and friendly. After lunch I was the only one left and they in no way made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. As I was sitting alone, they even included me in their conversation! This little home town diner makes you feel right at home!

This restaurant used to be where my mother (from Swanton) went with her grandfather to sell pigs. My dad (from Whitehouse) went there to sell his hogs when he was in high school. Since that time, this meeting place has become a local favorite restaurant in Fulton County. People who enter are greeted on a first name basis. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is definitely homestye cooking that is so delicious you want to come back for more.

Stopped in for breakfast today, just passing through. Glad we stopped. A good local place with delicious omelets made to order with fresh ingredients! A bit of a wait as they are short handed (like everywhere these days), but worth the wait, and very friendly service!
