Really cool place. Good food. Good service. The pierogies were great. We had a burger and the wings. Lots of food and a good price. Lots and lots of beer choices.

It’s a weird spot for a great little bar. You’re not sure whether you want to go in at first, but go for it, the stamp is friendly and food and service is terrific. We had awesome wings and a chicken sandwich and the beers were fairly priced with good variety.

Could have gotten a better chicken sandwich at Wendy’s. Burnt to a crisp and a few shreds of chicken. Im leaving and headed somewhere else because I could not even eat this. Skip this place for sure.

Fun bartender and locals, the pierogies were really good. Very dark inside, we’ll be back.

Great place with great food. A darkly lit pub with fantastic food. My son and I were in town to paddle a river and found this place on the internet and thought we’d give it a try, and man o man am I glad we did. The food is uniquely homemade and not your every day run of the mill fare. The pierogis were definitely the star of the show and highly recommended. Prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic. The first night of our stay, they were medium busy but the service was attentive and thorough. The third night of our stay we got there early and they packed out before we left, again the service being highly attentive and in point. I was very impressed with this place and it was one of the most memorable highlights of the trip.

I had eaten there previously and really enjoyed their Cobb Salad which they happily substituted grilled chicken for the fried chicken. It was incredibly delicious! Wanting to support this local joint as much as possible, I took my kids there during supper time. They were a little bit nervous with the bar atmosphere, but soon relaxed with the friendly service and incredible food! We had the Brussel Sprouts and Fried Devil Eggs for appetizers, then the Classic Hamburger, the Beyond Burger, the Special of the day wings (it may have been whiskey cheerwine? – and they were large, juicy and incredibly delicious!). GO SUPPORT THIS BAR/RESTAURANT! Full menu until 1am EVERY NIGHT! YAY!

Place looks a bit run down on the outside, but I promise you will not be disappointed with the food and beverage. Everything was or seemed to be hand-made in shop! My fries were still excellent hours later from my doggie box at room temp! Not your typical dive bar food! There were at least 15+ takeout orders, either personal or GrubHub, etc that occurred in the hour we were there at 11pm. The locals sure know this place is awesome! A few miles drive north of downtown Asheville, but well worth it. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Vegan friendly menu, but above all – the service was exceptionally excellent and the entire atmosphere of the place (including the regular patronage) is very neighborly and inviting. If you’re looking for a hole in the wall that makes you feel like you’re a part of the Asheville community, go to this wonderful place.
