The food was ok. Wings were large, but very sinewy. Making for a lot of biting and picking the actual meat off. Price was great. Swiss, mushroom burger on rye was decent. Fries were average from the bag fries.

For our 2nd time, visiting this hidden gem of a restaurant, we were once again blown away with the excellent service and quality of food. When you first come in, you’re greeted with the warmest of welcome. You’re seated in a cute dining area only to be greeted again by a stellar waitress. Today, we had Hayleigh wait on us, and may I say she’s a doll. Attention to detail was above and beyond. The chef, though, is a show stopper. He noticed us coming in and delayed his break to make us the most succulent fried walleye, and the onion rings are about the size of your fist. What really rocked our socks off is that Chris took the time to come over and talk with us. He waited to see his mother and child on his break to make us an amazing lunch. Love The Barton House !!!

Great newer restaurant in Barton. Service is awesome, Friendly bartenders, Randy and Jen make some of the best old fashioneds and bloodies in SE Wisconsin! Brisket nachos are to die for. The tuna sandwich not only looked amazing, but was absolutely delicious. Great food and great service every time! Loved the boss baby sandwich and fries. Friday clam chowder is amazing as well as the fish fry! Chicken wing specials on Wednesday and Saturday prime rib. Save room from for the amazing desserts from Blissful Bites like carrot cake and cheesecake!!

Where do I start??? Let me single out Katy our server and Chris our cook for an impeccable experience. We were greeted with a genuine warm welcome by our server and her attention and efficiency at her job never left us wanting anything all through the dining experience. I knew the main course was going to be off the charts, despite it being traditional fish fry Friday, ordered the Reuben sandwich and a salad and cheese curds. The attention to detail on a simple salad as well as the most appealing fried cheese I have ever experienced spoke volumes of the care put into the little things about this establishment. Cheese curds being remarkable in a state where even the convenience stores sell them is a feat unto itself….

Krissy was an absolute dream! Wonderful, engaging bartender. THE BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES EVER! Crispy and light. The nachos with brisket were scrumptious. The owner Eric the proprietor is a delight. There are specials every day. When it’s 3pm and the sidewalks roll up head over to Barton House in Barton WI. We are coming back tomorrow for Crab Legs. Yum yum yum

We recently came to see what’s new in Barton. The Barton House is clean with a friendly inviting atmosphere. Our bartender was helpful in picking out a beer and made a great old fashion. The server was friendly and efficient. We had a cod fish fry with cakes. Very good!

Ordered take out 6 of us. Asked if they had enough rare prime left for 5 sandwiches. After checking in back, they said yes. We also order with no cheese or onions… these were well done and clearly the chef took whatever scraps were left and put them across the 5.

Had the prime rib sandwich and it was fabulous! I had the fries with it which were great also. It was surprisingly reasonably priced as well. Our server was friendly and attentive. This place is a gem.

First visit. Took over an hour for the kitchen to assemble a burger and a chicken sandwich. Ordered a meal to go and asked to receive it as we left. It was delivered with our entrees. Food and table service were good. Seems like the kitchen needs to work on its cadence.
