This is an amazing circa 1860s home that you can feel the history in as soon as you walk in. The food was absolutely devine! The shrimp and grits is an orgasm of flavor for your taste buds! Our server, Ryan, was very attentive and has a great sense of humor. Make a reservation and come enjoy this fine dining experience.

Our experience was amazing. The location is beautiful, and there’s so much history there. The food was delicious and not terribly priced. Our server Freya was so attentive and we loved the woman at the host stand who told us about the history (didn’t catch her name). We also enjoyed the wine and tequila we got as well. We’ll definitely return.

Lovely dinner. Beautiful historic home with lots of history. Got to hang out in the Speakeasy! Loved that, very prohibition era style. Had lovely pre dinner drinks then went upstairs for dinner. Dinner was delicious! Steak and the basil Tomato soup were beyond delicious. Lovely outside pet named Cassie nod us farewell. Overal, great customer service and food.

We went with a large group for a Sunday brunch and had the best experience! The food was delicious and our server Alan made the entire experience! He was incredible at service, entertainment and going the extra mile. The historic building is charming and the staff love to talk about the history! Great experience all around

Excellent food and service. We are outside on the deck with perfect weather. The prices are a bit on the expensive side but the food is good. My steak had an unexpected but tasty crust on it.

Amazing experience. Great piece of Texas history. Our server, Jacob, had a pretty extensive knowledge of the place. Had to send hubby’s steak back because it was over cooked but Jacob (who’s also the manager) went above and beyond to make it right. Truly, excellent customer service. We WILL be back! Ask about the speakeasy. Super cool place. We’ve missed unique dining since moving to the area from Austin and this place definitely scratches that itch without having to drive to Austin. Drinks were tasty. Extensive wine menus. Dessert was yummy. The Filet Steak was TO DIE FOR, it cut like butter. No sauce or anything extra needed. Truly great flavor. We also really enjoyed the steak and pork bruschetta. Truly, everything was good.

I would have given this place 5 stars because food and service we both pretty good. However, I am pretty sure either the server or the kitchen forgot about our order, and we ended up waiting a while for the food. They did give my parents each a free glass of wine to make up for it.
