We hired Distinguished Engagements because we knew of the high standards of the owner. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service for our large family event. We wanted Italian food and Distinguished Engagements delivered. We also needed food for several vegetarians in the family and they were well accommodated. Staff was friendly, on time and food was on time. Everything was delicious and we feasted on leftovers the next day. As a foodie, as a business owner, and as a supporter of area/local businesses, I fully recommend D.E. for your catering needs.

Extremely limited choices and over priced for the small amount of options they do have. $11 for an egg and cheese sandwich?!? I’m always a big fan of supporting local businesses and I am obviously a human being. So, I understand people make mistakes. But, if you burn toast for a customer it would be more understandable if you brought the food out and said something like “we are remaking your toast because we accidentally burnt it” than serve literally black toast. Took my drink order when they went to go check if they had orange juice and forgot to get my wife’s drink order! Like i said, i am big on supporting the Mom and Pop shops but that was just ridiculous. We won’t be back and i can’t say i would recommend this establishment.

Subpar service in general. Food was fine but not a lot of Choices. We were given the check as our food was dropped off to us. Then- we paid by cash and were literally chased ny a chef to demand payment !and accused of not paying! We were yelled at and made to feel like we had stolen. We had left a 22% tip. How rude and inappropriate. No thank you again

The Base is a lovely little restaurant! The food is tasty and nicely presented. Their space has indoor and outdoor seating as well as a beautiful space to host events. Definitely a good stop when coming from or going to the mountains!

Over priced, under served. $12 for a 3oz smash burger served on a cold potato bun. Very limited menu options, side choices are salad or chips. Service was mediocre. . The building is very nice, clean and has potential. Hopefully they get it together.
