I’m honestly sad it took me so long to try this place! The food is FLAVORFUL, heathy, and has generous portions. So glad they opened, Rapid has needed more healthy lunch options!

This place is amazing! We both had a sausage breakfast sandwich and subbed the Bison Biscuit for the bread. We agreed that it was the best breakfast sandwich we had ever had. It had unbelievable flavor. It was moist and not greasy at all which is difficult to achieve with a biscuit sandwich. The service was excellent. All of the employees were helpful and you could tell they were invested in their food creations and restaurant.

After being turned down to sit on the patio of 2 other restaurants in Rapid City, the Bashful Bison welcomed my husband and I and our 2 dogs INTO their restaurant. This was a wonderful respite on a 96 degree day. They even brought a dog bowl full of water and ice to cool down the dogs. The floors were concrete and the tables were simple, but the sandwiches (and pickles) were very yummy. We bought a jar of pickles to take home. Thank you Bashful Bison for your hospitality to humans and dogs!

Today was my first time eating here. It was highly recommended by my friend and coworker. I went in for lunch and had the Hermosa sandwich on sourdough. I could only eat half, as I also had a chocolate croissant.. It was so good! They smoke their own meats, bake their own breads, make their own pickles and jams, and also sell them.

Awesome sandwiches and caramel rolls. Biscuits and Gravy pretty dang good also. Highly recommend. Can sit inside or outside in the gated patio on the sidewalk.

Swung in while on vacation with my husband and three kids. We were excited to grab and support food from a local company for our picnic lunch. Unfortunately, it took over 30 minutes for 4 sandwiches, and one sandwich was forgotten, which meant we had to wait even longer. If it were just my husband and myself, it would have been OK, but with three hungry kids, it was a bit stressful. Food left a bit to be desired, but the Pine Ridge was delicious. They do offer a very good variety of local items, such as canned items and snacks.

Best deli in town. Everything is sourced locally and the food is top notch. And all ofnthr menu names are local towns and areas. This deli is something you’d expect in a big city that has been there for decades. The flavors are a masterpiece of culinary expertise. The Edgemont is the best rueban in town. Can’t wait to come back.

I love this deli. They are super friendly and their selection is amazing. If I could come here everyday, I would. Their sandwiches are huge and their prices are great! Pick yourself up a jar of Chef Pete’s pickles! They are awesome. Tell your friends!

Walking by, stopped in & glad we did. Locally sourced with a menu offering enough variety for a group. My daughter had a Sturgis san & loved it. She literally ate everything and for a picky teen it spoke volumes. My mother & I both had the Springfield salads. Fresh everything and we loved it! Anxious to try the pastrami. But local honey, flour, baked goods and mushrooms were available. Locally sourced = food sovereignty & local economy boosting.
