Just a stellar experience all-around. Great service, great wine, and spectacular food. I kid you not, that was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The Jamón Serrano & Manchego ogitartekoak (little sandwiches) were to DIE for—the fruity olive oil really puts them over the top. But I’d recommend anything off their menu. Absolutely worth a stop-in and absolutely worth the prices.

Arrived early on Friday for the Paella. Took a seat outside, bought some tapas, shepherders bread, and a glass of Ulacia Getariako Txakolina., and did purchase the bottle. The Paella was better than what I had in Valencia and I think It was because of the basque chorizo. Plenty of shrimp and seafood in this dish. Friendly staff and good service.

How on earth someone could leave a poor review for this place is wild. We had the peppers, the meatballs, the potatoes & the croquettes. Everything was phenomenal. The sheep herders bread that you order with the meatballs is some of the most delicious bread I have ever eaten. I don’t know how they cut the potatoes or what the spicy sauce they put on it is made of, but they are dynamite. All of the market items are very reasonably priced as well. I want to go back right now.

Easily my favorite place to eat in Boise. The owners are so cool and knowledgeable – I recommend going with an open mind and having them order for you (wine as well). Everything is delicious and freshly made with love and the atmosphere is great. Awesome cafe and little grocery. And don’t miss out on their Paella when they have it!

Awesome place. Jose and everyone were so nice and welcoming. Food was all excellent and can taste the ingredients without being overwhelmed by salt or spice. The small grocery inside also full of unique Basque goodies. Definitely a must in Boise!!! Tip, there is paid parking (Park Mobile) nearby in case street parking is full.

We have wanted to try this place since we moved here a year ago. We were very familiar with the Basque community and food in Bakersfield, CA. However Boise has a much larger presence of Basques and thus – more food, etc. we had some tapas and a bottle of very good wine, followed by some chorizo and grilled peppers. All were very tasty. As you can see from the pictures, there is a large selections of specialty foods. The fun part is watching them cook the paella In the VERY large pans. These are hanging on the wall in the pictures. The staff was extremely friendly and answered our many questions

Very Satisfying experience from the minute I walked in, to the last moment trying to force the final morsel down my throat. Very attentive and knowledgeable server! Not knowing the culture or the type of foods to order, the waiter was a plus as he knew exactly what we should order and what we would find enjoyable. The experience was great.

Came on a Friday for the paella – there’s a 30 min wait right when the place opened so the paella is that good. don’t skip the pintxos – savory or sweet. dipping warm baguette slices into the creamy tomato bisque is just what we wanted on a cold winter day.
