Was hesitant to try it because I’m not a big sausage or beer fan and to me, that’s German Faire. Lol. But I really liked it. The dessert was amazing. I actually liked the beer he got too. The peppercorn bacon gravy reminded me of sawmill gravy. The only thing I would change is less salt in the food.

We used to eat at The Bavarians when it was located in Jesup, GA. We followed them on Facebook while they were on hiatus and when they reopened in Ft. Walton Beach we made it our plan to visit the area and eat there again. Today was the day and y’all didn’t disappoint. The food was as good as ever and the live music added to the experience. Thanks for continuing to make the same great authentic food we were expecting. This will always be a stop that’ll never be too far out of our way.

My family was on vacation in the area and was wanting something beside seafood for dinner one evening. This restaurant caught my Dad’s eye as we drove down the strip our first day and he was excited to try it, and I am happy to say it did not disappoint. This authentic German restaurant had delicious food. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a schnitzel sandwich, breaded schnitzel, a mushroom gravy noodle (don’t remember the name), as well as the house salad. We finished off our meal with delicious apple strudels and ice cream, which i cannot recommend enough. Great service and definitely worth trying!

We came here for the first time this past Saturday and we loved it so much! The food is amazing and very authentic. Everything we ordered tasted just like in Germany! This was actually the first time we have had real German food in the US. Everyone who worked there was so nice and friendly. They were also very attentive, giving us refills and anything else we needed. Another thing I really liked about this place is that we didn’t feel rushed (unlike those touristy places on the beach), in Europe it’s normal to take your time when going out to eat. Overall, you can just tell that the owners and staff have put so much love and effort into this place. The decor is authentic and if you didn’t know you were in Florida, you would feel like you were in Bavaria! They even have German TV. We will definitely be back!

It was a great experience. Music is amazing, you can feel German tradition and culture in all the space. Food and beer are delicious. I loved how musicians integrated us dancing the chicken dance.

First visit:Pretty good. The house salad was odd. The Cordon Bleu was big.

My husband and I visited for the first time. Parking can be tricky, and they share a building with a bar, so it’s always good to check if they have a wait.

Absolutely the best German food I’ve ever eaten. So good I’d take a flight from Ohio to Florida just to get a meal and then fly back home.

I don’t get to enjoy German food often and this place delivered! The food was very tasty and the service was fantastic! You get plenty of food for a reasonable price. The variety of dishes is good and I was able to have all my favorites except spetzle.
