Love their food. Fast service and friendly crew. They also serve ice cream which is very great on a summer weather. Love the idea that it is near the tuscan market beer garden where you can enjoy live music on the weekend after the sumptuous seafood meal. Definitely will come back and recommend to friends.

I love that you walk in and they have picnic table dinning. They also offer a great outdoor dinning area.

Went to the Beach Plum for the first time on Mother’s Day. The scallops and the clams were the best I’ve ever had and I am a ‘KAREN’ when it comes to seafood. The portions were also decent – which made spending 29.99 on a 2-way combo well worth the price. Some of the clams were huge – see picture below – and I know some people don’t like that, but they were so sweet and cleaned perfectly. The sweet potato fries were like strings – could have been thicker. I am only giving a 4-star because we received chicken soup instead of the gumbo – when we went to the counter to have them change it, we watched them poor a bag of soup into a paper bowl and microwave it….the soup itself was not eaten – no flavor. We also ordered extra tarter and it only came with 2 containers when we had purchased 3 meals – they corrected it. Overall, for 3 dinners, 3 drinks, & a soup, paying 101 was not bad. I will be back!

Had the 2 way combo with haddock and scallops….absolutely perfect!! We arrived around noon, and the line went through quickly. Atmosphere is what we expect for the Beach Plum, casual and happy.

Definitely a great experience. Relaxed atmosphere. Order food, and you’ll get a number, staff will bring food to the table. Had the lobster roll, macaroni and cheese with lobster and fried pickle chips

This location is very convenient for seafood. The one in Portsmouth was the best location. This location seems to really serve greasy food. The scallops clams are thrown directly into the French fries to soak up the grease instead of doing a better job of not serving grease soaked food. If I’m going to drop $40 on s plate,I expect more. The food itself is good . Just need a better kitchen staff. I’ve been 4 times at different days and times. Still get the same sad grease soaked food. Maybe the original cook needs to share their secret with Salem . Just a thought. I’m a loyal customer, been to 3 locations over past 20 years. It saddens me to lose my go to seafood place. Maybe this review will help them work it out,I’m sure I’m not the only one who notices the quality is lacking these days.

Very delicious! Scallop, shrimp and even the fries were seasoned well. Their tartar sauce was very good. Cole slaw seemed like it was missing something, but overall I enjoyed the food

I’ve always been a fan of The Beach Plum but waited to visit the new Salem restaurant as the reviews have been mixed since they opened. Glad to say we had a great experience here on a Saturday night around 6pm. They were busy but on their toes! Had the grilled salmon salad which was perfectly grilled with a lot of salad and the fried haddock dinner. One big piece of haddock vs pieces and bonus, their patio is dog friendly so we were able to dine with our pal!

The food was absolutely putrid. This was my first time coming here so I split the fisherman’s platter with my husband. From the shrimp, to the clam strips and even the haddock, everything tasted disgusting and was inedible. I immediately started to feel sick after consuming it. It tasted like they hadn’t changed the oil the food is fried in for way too long. They also got our order wrong off the bat and gave us coleslaw instead of onion rings and French fries. The guy who helped us was understanding at least and refunded us for the platter. We still paid $25 for 2 drinks and an appetizer and left feeling sick. This is the worst seafood we’ve ever had. Never coming back.
