Fantastic service – Christina and all the staff were excellent! We came for dinner and the restaurant was very accommodating to our family of all ages. Everyone liked their dish. Great outdoor space and we enjoyed the live music. I wish I could give it 5 stars but the lack of vegan options and the high menu prices hold back that 5th star for me. I’ll be back for drinks and their tasty fries, but hoping they add vegan dishes to the menu!

Went for Sunday brunch. GREAT food & FRESH seafood! I had the calamari (which comes with fried banana peppers-and they were AWESOME), and clams. The clams were HUGE and DELICIOUS! Ordered a drink (the kraken)-also good. I don’t drink bloody Mary’s BUT (if u do) this is the place to be. People went nuts for the build your own bloody Mary bar. My husband ordered fish tacos-must have been good because I didn’t get a bite! Also, there was LIVE JAZZ. Great outdoor seating as well-would make for a good date night spot.

Wow! Very nice bar/restaurant atmosphere with a piano player on a Saturday night to set a relaxing mood. Not only were the food and drinks amazing, but the service was incredibly friendly and genuine! We had children with us who loved the food they ordered with one of them ordering the pasta from the kids menu that was well received. Our meal highlights included the Maine Steamers and Clam Chowder appetizers and for entrees the Lobster Roll and Scallops over seasonal vegetables were both amazing. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate mousse which was so good, we ordered another one. We are really looking forward to returning here on our next visit back to Marblehead.

Me and my best friend just got in town tonight and this was where we decided to have dinner. It was fantastic! Our server Sam was not only wonderful at his job but also super helpful with giving us insight and ideas for stuff to do on our vacation. Absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend him and this restaurant.

On August 13, 2023 I celebrated my 80th Birthday at The Beacon. From my first meeting with Stephanie Valentin { Event Planner} I knew the party would be perfect and it was. The wait staff {Sam, Kimberly, Cassidy, and Damaris} were attentive, professional, and served with smiles on their faces. The food was outstanding and the drinks { bravo to the bar tender} were just right.

We had a wonderful dinner and service at the bar. Upon leaving we asked an employee (Sammy-a waiter) 3 or 4 times for help and he ignored us (we just wanted directions to the ladies room) and when he finally acknowledged us said “why are you screaming like that across the bar”. Everything had been so great up until that point so Sammy’s holier than thou attitude really left a bad taste in our mouth…I’m not sure we will go back again…

Waitress asked me to clarify my order, I did, she then proceeded to tell the kitchen the incorrect order, I got it and told them it was wrong. Later she came back admitting she didn’t pay attention to me when she asked for clarification (? – why ask for clarification if you aren’t going to pay attention?) And when I finally did get the right dish, it was clearly microwaved in a puddle of oily liquid instead of a creamy sauce base. The shrimp were chewy and disgusting and again, clearly microwaved. Also it’s too loud to hear yourself think let alone anything else.

Second time dining at The Beacon. It was as incredible as my first visit last summer. The sword chop was amazing, the piano bar and lovely ambience ensure an overall wonderful experience. Enjoyed listening to Johnny sing, and kudos to Rosanna for being attentive and just overall very sweet and enjoyable. For those seeking high quality food in a supper club environment, I highly recommend The Beacon and I am looking forward to my next visit!
