Food was great service was terrible during our late afternoon lunch. The waitress/bartender was more worried about flirting/conversations with the guy at the bar vs taking care of our table to the point I had to get up to request to get her attention to order, get silverware to eat, get the lemmings I requested for my water. Ambiance cute diner style place with a great patio. Food tasted good was fresh. What should have been a quick lunch took over an hour

I’m still not sure if I’m disappointed or not. Overall, it was a good experience for an evening meal at 6:30pm. Ordered chicken pesto sandwich, salads and tacos. Didn’t like sandwich much.

The Better Half is quickly becoming a date night favorite for my Wife and I! We started with the Smoked Lemon Pepper and Basil wings, which were great! It was great having a wing appetizer with a dry rub instead of only having sauce options!

Stopped here for the first time for lunch and I’m looking forward to going back! They smoke their own corned beef for the corned beef sandwich and it is delicious. Our server was great fun, too. I’ll try to go for happy hour next time to sample the microbrews from their Angry Inch brewery next door. It’s the “other half” of the building! Great place I’m glad to recommend.

Met my friend there, her choice, she likes this place. I liked spending time with her. I got a burger and fries, I’d been craving that. 2 thin, very well done, smashed patties, taste was good, but I prefer 1 thicker patty that isn’t crispy. The fries were good. It’s not a completely fair assessment since I have been there this 1 time, and only know of this 1 menu item. The service was really good and we stayed a long time.

I am giving 5 stars overall, with the only part of meal not worth raving about was my wife’s smash burger, and a rushing waitress. The beef of the burger itself was good, but the fried toppings combined with the type of bun made it taste heavily greasy.

Sara(h) is excellent! She provided a refreshing experience for my family and me. Not only did she go above and beyond multiple times, but she ensured we received kind and timely service. She was prepared for kids dining as she had brought our young ones some toys. I was in the mood for a cocktail, and she brought me a great drink that she personally recommended, a Cherry Mule (I think she called it a cherry bomb). The person cooking was also excellent, they could have easily closed the kitchen early as it was a slower day for them but they stayed to cook our family’s meal.

I absolutely love this restaurant. In the short time it’s been open, I’ve already been 6 times to try the menus and meals. For drinks, the jalapeno margarita, Irish coffee, and salty dog are excellent. The old fashioned is decent. The chorizo breakfast is flavorful and delicious, but would prefer it spicier. My favorite meal so far is the hanger steak….incredible. The honey buffalo wings were tasty, and the kids cheeseburger uses quality meat (something I’m discovering is getting harder to find). Very happy to have another excellent restaurant in Lakeville!
