One of the best pizzas I’ve had in this area. The crust could be smaller but either way was delicious. Staff was friendly and the pizzas are made to order, which is really important for me as I don’t like pizza that has been sitting there a while. Overall great experience,will repeat it soon.

Can’t give enough praise and thanks to the staff here at the Kansas Expressway location. Placed an online order and unfortunately it was picked up by an another customer by mistake. The staff were so kind and apologetic on what happened and kept me in the loop while they remade my order. From working in the service industry myself I fully understand that something like this happens. I did not expect or ask for anything to be given to me. The manager came up to me offered me a free drink and then provided me with a gift certificate for the wait and mishap. The food was absolutely amazing and truly one of the best pizza spots in the Springfield area. Thank you guys for your amazing service!!

We stopped in right at 11:00 AM when they opened. Ordered 3 slices (pepperoni, Supreme, and a Manga (meat)) for 2 people and that was plentyof food! They were so good! The sauce is perfect! The thin crispy crust with that “New York” chewy texture is spot on! I knew I should wait a bit before diving in as they literally were just pulled out of the oven;but, I couldn’t resist. The small burn on the roof of my mouth is worth it!

Have been here a handful of times when we visit Springfield. This last visit was disappointing. Spent about $60 on pizza and the toppings were sad and sauce was lacking. It was basically some mildly falvored crust. Definitely not like past experiences. I would just give the owner a recommendation to be more generous with toppings for $30-40 a pizza. Our 21 inch cheese pizza was lacking sauce and cheese…. the 2 main things. Just wasn’t pleased with it overall

Best pizza I’ve found in Springfield and the surrounding area. Some different and interesting pizza combinations on the menu, and if those don’t interest you, just build your own slice or slices. They also have a good selection of beer on tap.

Pretty tasty New York style pizza! The crust was a tad chewier than we’d prefer, but still delicious. The staff was friendly, service was fast, and they graciously offered us a military discount after my husband was chatting about his job to one of the employees. Very affordable pizza for what you get!

Awesome! We ordered a large meat lovers pizza. We got stuck in traffic and lost on the GPS on the way, but they kept the pizza nice and hot and were very cheerful and friendly when we finally got there. Really appreciated it!

My family and I come to Big Slice most weekends after church. We’ve always been very happy with the service and food. However, the last 3 or 4 times we’ve come, it’s been a less than pleasurable experience. Let me be clear, this is not due to the food. The food is amazing. The service has been nothing short of lackluster. Whoever is in charge of the register never gets our order correct. They read it back to us and it’s not even close to what we’ve said. They’ll start over and yet again get it wrong. They’ll start again and then get it correct. Then when the food is delivered, it isn’t what we’ve ordered, or we are told we did not purchase a salad. When we ordered the slice and salad combo. It’s extremely frustrating, as this is one of our favorite places in Springfield. Unfortunately we are not likely to return.
