We stopped in from out of town, and had no regrets. It was one of the best meals I can remember! We tried the Crab Meat Beignets, Harvest Salad, Chef’s Chicken (which was a Cajun fried chicken, with grilled pineapple, red beans and rice), and the Shrimp and Grits. All of the food was amazing, and some of the best food we’ve had! I’d highly recommend. The two cocktails my girlfriend got were also good. The artwork also provides a nice atmosphere!

Last night, my beloved and I took a road trip to Bowling Green, KY to try the fare at The Bistro. What a treat! The restaurant is downtown in a historical building (circa 1893). The vibe was warm, welcoming and festive, with the food comparable to meals we’ve enjoyed in five-star restaurants. Annie, our server, was lovely and very engaging; her service was spot on.

For the second time, friends and I went to The Bistro for Sunday Brunch. The first time I ordered the burger and it was just okay. (I’m certain it was the toppings which weren’t to my taste. Others probably enjoyed it.) My friends ordered the cod and raved about how good it was. Yesterday, I ordered the Champagne Chicken. OMG! It was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life! The flavors were exquisite! One of my friends ordered the French Toast, and she was in heaven. After trying a bite, I visited there with her. I highly recommend trying The Bistro. It’s a decision I’m certain you won’t regret. The Chef is top notch! My compliments to him/her!!!

Nice little downtown restaurant in BG. None of the food was exceptional, at least not the night we went, but neither was any of it bad. Better than many others for sure. The menu is eclectic and full of surprises. My ribeye special was $45 and not worth $20 (medium was more like well done). The seafood special was delicious. Dessert wasn’t what I was expecting. Drinks were interesting. Salad great. Our server was phenomenal and the atmosphere perfect for a date. I will definitely be back and am curious how the next round will go.

My wife and I went there this evening Wednesday, June 21. My order was excellent. My wife’s was very good except for the lamb chops. All four were over cooked and slightly burnt not really a burnt taste just very dark on both sides. Been there multiple times, never had anything like that happen, we mentioned it to the waiter.

Went to the Bistro to use a Groupon I had purchased. This was our second time to dine at the Bistro and we have been very pleased with the experience both times. I had the rabbit and my wife had the shrimp and grits. The rabbit was good but the shrimp and grits were fabulous. The entire experience- food,service, and atmosphere- is top notch at the Bistro. Sorry for not posting pictures, I forgot to take any of our food.

We recently had a party and rented their upstairs space as we have been many times prior and had always enjoyed the food. Management was very easy to work with during party planning. The day of the event the wait staff were very attentive, the food was exceptional, and the space was perfect for our needs! The more private but larger area allowed the kids to be a big louder and more mobile than what would typically be acceptable in a dining atmosphere without disturbing other diners elsewhere in the restaurant. The price was reasonable for renting the space and for the quality of food we received. We will be back!

Enjoyed our meal! The Bistro was accommodating for my gluten sensitivity. I ordered the cheese board and the harvest salad with grilled chicken. The Cranberry Spice Mule was so yummy! My husband got the Mushroom Ravioli and said that it was amazing! Lounge seating was enjoyable. Music was a good selection. Our server, Greg, provided excellent customer service. A great experience tonight for dinner! Architecture was classic and interesting.
