Was lucky enough to try this at an Octoberfest event in Austin, shortly after I ordered they would set out this BRB sign for 5 to 10 minutes at a time, the wait was not long at all for my food they were just perhaps understaffed or unable to take too many orders at once.

Best food truck we’ve ever had. Amazing German food. Literally not a bad item on the menu. We have become regulars and love the chicken schnitzelwhich, pretzel, and potato salad. Top of the line food, fast service, and nice guy that serves it! Definitely recommend. 10 out of 10.

Just ordered a beer brat with kraut. Possibly the best I’ve ever had, even in the EU! The brat was smooth and flavorful, the casing almost non existent! The bread was just the right balance of chewy inside and crispness outside. The kraut and mustard well balanced. Carrot and turnip pickles an extra authentic treat! Washed down with a Primus from @liveoakbrewing

I like Live Oak a lot, but I LOVE Black Forest. 100% my favorite german food in town. So fresh, so good. The pretzels are great (better than the other popular options in town, imho), the sandwiches are sooo yummy, and I love the pickled veggies. Get the schnitzel sandwich for sure. It’s always fresh and high quality. The owners are chill and provide good service. 10 stars.
