A good experience but I was expecting more.

We ended up here by being part of the Tasting Collective dinner club. It was our first time here. The place has plenty of parking. As part of the Tasting Collective event we got to meet the chef which was really cool. We really enjoyed every dish we tried along with the drinks. All of the dishes were well balanced, they had good temperature, and the textures were spot on. When you combine great flavors and textures in the same dish you get magic. So happy we chose to come to this event! Will definitely come back and will also be bringing friends and referring this restaurant to everyone.

My wife and I went for a date night, and it was a terrific experience in every sense.

Every minute of the experience was fabulous. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. Drinks were great, we ended up at the Sunday happy hour, highly recommend!! Every dish was fantastic, especially the crawfish and noodles. Make reservations if you want a table, the whole hood knows about this great place.

The food and service were good. All the dishes that we ordered were tasty, especially the crawfish and garlic noodles. The pate on the banh mi board was also really good, but the cha was overcooked and dry. The prices were reasonable for the area; but if you’re comparing to Bellaire/Chinatown, the flavors were comparable, but portion sizes significantly smaller.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while. I put my name on the waitlist the day before and received a call that a table was available.

We ate here for my boyfriends birthday, and we LOVED it. We’re die hard Master Chef fans, so this was the perfect surprise for him.

I had very high hopes, not overly ambitious expectations. Over all quite good. But there were just too many mediocre things that detracted from the meal. Service was vary kind, but slow. The restaurant was pleasant, but hot. The food was good, but not great. The brisket fried rice was awesome! It had the great char and smokiness from the wok and meat. But the rest was lacking. The ribeye was just a steak cooked well. Nothing special about it. The Eggrolls were very good. The bang bang shrimp were over cooked and kind of flavorless. The Bahn Knot was very yummy though. Overall it was all just ok. There were highlights and lowlights. I really hate for this to be a 3 star, but it was a consensus. I hope it’s just an execution problem today…

After retroactively watching season 3 of Master Chef, we had to check our Christine’s Houston restaurant. We are SO glad we did, as the food was amazing! Our waiter was very kind. She was responsive to vegan requests and suggestions. While there weren’t too many vegan options, what they do have available is insanely tasty. I tried dishes I’ve never heard of that I will remember for a long time. The atmosphere of the place was rustic and not too loud for conversation. Thank you Christine and the staff for blessing Houston with this gift!
