Amazing food! Weekday breakfast, nice and quiet spot. Had my first ever mimosa, definitely made for a happy start to the morning. Partner had the Colorado coffee(has bourbon in it) and kid had “Shirley temple”.

We decided to go out for brunch this Saturday morning, and really enjoyed our new brunch find at The Block and Bottle. The pot roast and eggs were delicious, and the quiche was outstanding. The bread at The Block and Bottle is also really good. I assume it is made in-house, or at least it tastes like a really good homemade version!

Came to try it here for Valentine’s Day and we were NOT disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff was so nice. I had the lobster Benedict and my hubby had the chicken fried chicken with eggs. We will definitely be back to try other breakfast options. Portions are fantastic and huge for some of the items. Thank you for making the start to our day a delight and our tummies full.

Great place for brunch. Fresh ingredients and well seasoned. Had two brunches here though I have not yet been for other meal times but will return for sure.

This is our second time visiting, and we came for happy hour and ordered a couple of appetizers. The chicharrones are freshly fried and still popping when they come to the table, totally fun and HUGE, served with a Cheese sausage dip. We also got the bacon wrapped shrimp. I had a couple of very nice glasses of wine, and my husband had an Old Fashioned. It was Sunday, and they were pretty busy with a new bartender, so things took a little while, but not too bad. And we only waited about 10 minutes for seating. Our waitress, Colleen, is so special and did a great job! The last time we were here, I had the cobb salad, and my husband had the burger, and both were excellent.

I have tried to like this place so many times (in fact 2 times this weekend alone), but it just isn’t working for me. They are out of at least 2-3 main ingredients or alcohol every single time and the food is subpar. Here is a picture of a side of fruit – yes technically it is a side of fruit but how sad is this in the middle of summer? Like if that’s the effort you put in to fruit, you can imagine the rest of their menu. And don’t get me started on their HH food – it’s like they pre make it and warm it up when you order it when there are literally 4 people in the entire restaurant.

I got the Eggs Benedict. However, my eggs weren’t poached. They were hard boiled. Other than that, the food, service, and atmosphere were all really good!

Enjoyed a Breakfast/Brunch at the Block and Bottle. My chicken and waffles dish was delicious – chicken had wonderful salty breading.

Such a great addition to downtown Castle Rock. Cute place, comfy booths, not too loud. Staff was so friendly and attentive. We came in and enjoyed some of the happy hour specials! $6 glasses of wine and half off appetizers! Such a good deal. The charcuterie board was VERY generous and such a good deal. Assortment of meats, good cheeses, olives, fruit. Loved it. The hummus was also delicious and so unique- every place should serve hummus with the beets, olives, and roasted red peppers! I would love to come back next time I’m in town and try more of the menu. Great sport for girls night.

We’ve been here twice now, and honestly, we will never go back. Service is fine. Atmosphere is fine. Food is terrible. No flavor, undercooked and disappointing. Cocktails are horrible. Do not order the Vesper Martini! The Cajun Caesar salad is a bunch of lettuce with bland dressing and sugary croutons, the kitchen does not understand the concept of well done on meat and the starters are nothing to write home about. Manager took raw burger off our bill, but still $60 down the drain. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Plenty of other great places to eat!
