The food at the Blue Store is always good. Made hot and fresh, spiced just right, bigger chicken then their competition, and love the shrimp fried and Cajun rice dishes. Their cracklins are tasty, too. Prices are good and not made to break the bank, and they’re willing to work it out to accommodate what you’re asking for if it’s not directly on the menu. I go as often as I can and will keep going back.

I truly am giving the three stars because yesterday morning when I ordered chicken wings and wanted to order shrimp fried rice, the ladies were very nice enough to let me know that the shrimp did not smell pleasing to them so they did not want me to order and be upset about spoil food and wasting my time and money. I appreciate that because many other places will sale you something just to make money, I thank God that saved me from ever wanting to go against what the workers said. They were very nice, I even tipped the lady at the front desk. I pray the owner gets it together and throw away the spoil food before really causing harm to someone. I did get the wings and they were great, my son enjoyed them. This location was better than the other locations I’ve been to.

Some of the best chicken you will ever eat……. no need for sauce! I’m from the NW, and I visit family in Louisiana every year. When I’m in baton rouge, blue store is a staple for delicious chicken/ potato logs. The prices are extremely fair, and the people that work there are super friendly

My review has absolutely nothing to do with the food, but rather the horrible, disrespectful customer service I just received. Blue store needs to fire that lady at the register, she is rude and unprofessional I waited in the parking lot for twenty minutes for the store to open, because I know they open at 10. I go in to order my food like usual the lady at the register told me that the customers behind me were first while stated that they were her kids, not true as I watched them pull up and park. When I tried to explain to the cashier that I had been patiently waiting she got a real bad attitude, then proceeded to say what you want ( rudely)The proper term is may I help you. Am I not a paying customer spending my hard earned money in this establishment? Do I not deserve to receive the same respect that I am giving you? To top it all off when the guest behind me stated that I had been waiting she then said it don’t matter and she continued to be rude. Did I receive an apology? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!! I promise this was the very last time I will ever visit the blue store, any store that can’t hire people who respect their loyal customers is not a place I ever want to spend my money again. I know you’re thinking one person won’t stop any thing, but do the math that one person tells all of their friends and family, and the cashier continues to run people off that can really hurt a business. blue store needs to really screen their employees. I was under the impression that they were there to make money not loose it, I guess I was wrong. Oh and just in case you’re wondering which location this was it is located on Plank Rd in Baker. If I could have given no stars I would’ve.
