Great food and service. This was are second visit with the first several years ago, but remembered the fantastic onion rings. Well they still serve the same great onion rings and ordered a fried haddock sandwich that was excellent as well. The onion rings are handmade from with a light breading. The haddock was also lightly breaded and was a very good portion. Certainly, glad to see this place still serving great tasting food with excellent service.

This is a really great place to go to eat. We had the crab dip appetizer, a crab roll with fries and the fried haddock with fries and a salad. The zinfandel dressing for the salad was very good. We also got a blueberry milkshake (excellent) and some cookies and all butterfiinger mudslide to take home. Server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back if we come back this way.

Amazing experience. Five days of traveling Maine and this was the best food yet. The staff was friendly and very helpful. If they have it, dont miss the blueberry carrot cake, it is almost heaven on a fork.

Enjoyed my birthday lunch at this little slice of heaven! Lauren, as our waitress! I ordered baked stuffed haddock with mashed potatoes and peas! My boyfriend had a very large haddock sandwich! Look at the size of it! The food was delicious, only one complaint: my potatoes and gravy were not hot or even warm… his fries were not fresh, hot or even warm. Dessert was taken to go… chocolate cake with boiled frosting and peanut butter cookies! Would definitely return!

Classic long-established local, family-style restaurant/diner. Every comfort/diner food you can imagine (meatloaf, beef tips, hamburger steaks, hot turkey sandwiches, seafood platters) and seasonal specials and amazing homemade pies/desserts to boot. Reasonably priced. Friendly, overworked staff. I pass through the area once per year for vacations and make it a point to stop here for a comforting/satisfying breakfast and dinner.

I was on vacation and we wanted to get something to eat. We looked up several restaurants and checked out the menu. We wanted variety and fair prices. The Bluebird Ranch fit both. The restaurant had a wait because it was busy. We waited about 15 minutes before being sat. The server came over quickly. I ordered the the stuffed Haddock which came with 2 sides. I chose onion rings and Cole slaw,and my friend order ed the fried fish with French fries and onion rings. The food came in a reasonable about of time. The food was hot and delicious. The onion rings were homemade. Delicious,crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Phenomenal. It was cheesecake day. They had 30 flavors to chose from. I ordered the Heath bar and my friend ordered the butterscotch. Fantastic. Very well done Bluebird Ranch family Restaurant in Maine.

Clean, family oriented restaurant! Generous portion sizes (enough for two meals for our non-kid meals) and excellent cooking. The menu changes, so we were unable to get some of what we wanted this time(fried avocado)- but everything was delicious! Spinach dip, Chicken Parmesan, seafood Alfredo with scallops and shrimp, shrimp and clam plate…. So good!! Fried Shrimp and clam plate with mashed potatoes and veggie of the day pic.
