The setting and atmosphere was the highlight. Service was slow and not as friendly as we hoped. The scallops tasted great but the price for a serving of 5 scallops was extremely high. Never, anywhere have I ever paid $14 for only 5 scallops. We will not be going back.

The food is great and I would give 5 stars for that. The service is really really slow though which brought the rTing down to 3 stars. I quit going a few years ago because of the service. I tried it again tonight and the service started off good, but as soon as it starts to get busy, then things fade quickly. They need more wait staff.

We had two wonderful meals in July 2015 at the Boatyard Grill. Lunch was the best lobster roll we’ve ever had – and we’ve sampled them in many places! We returned for dinner with friends the next day and thoroughly enjoyed Chef Anneliese’s Portuguese Clam Stew and the outstanding Maine Blueberry Pie. The staff is friendly and efficient. The Boatyard Grill proves you can enjoy first class cuisine in a delightfully casual, waterfront restaurant popular with everyone from local lobstermen to tourists.

food no good from what i had, nice people and atmosphere ,had top clean my own room before i left, no place to smoke if your a smoker, through all the bad the owners were very nice even through things happenin through the night
