The food served was quite a disappointment. All the meat seemed either old or did not have enough flavor at all. I got the pulled pork sandwich but had very little pulled pork on it so it was basically an arugula sandwich. The ciders as always were great, and the staff was excellent but the food game has gone downhill since we last ate there.

All things considered, I love it. Very cool atmosphere, games, tons of drink choices and great food. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because when we first walked in, there’s really no direction as to if you need to be seated by a host or if you seat yourself. Should also be some indication that all food orders are placed at the bar, which gets a little hectic when their busy. I’d definitely recommend checking it out, I’ll certainly be back!

I’ve had the nachos and other items for a few months now. They never come out hot, regardless of how long it takes to come out, but the flavor isn’t bad and we really like the cider here. This caught up with me tonight finally with one of the roughest upset stomach experiences I’ve had in a while. This was the only spot I ate at. I’m not doing it again. Especially considering what I paid for them too. Service and atmosphere ratings are for The Barrelhouse which apparently doesn’t want to be confused with the restaurant inside their location. It kind of seems like they want the bad reviews for the food to not be obvious or drag their own ratings down.
