I came here this evening with my wife and inlaws for dinner. I ordered a well done hamburger and it was originally brought to me rare and very red in the center. After I showed the waitress, the hamburger was returned to me burnt and chared on the out side. In addition to the incompetent kitchen the service that I experienced was very slow. I would have been a bit more satisfied if a manager would have taken their time to ask as to why the food was returned twice. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at this time.

I really enjoyed my lunch at The Boiler Room. We happened upon it while taking my daughter to “The Factory” (also a great spot). We were about to eat at the pizza place, but decided to check the menu here first. The selection and prices looked good, so we gave it a shot.

We were there on the 10/28/2015 for dinner. Our server was dressed in faded and soiled dungarees that were too large. We ordered an appetizer which looked nothing at all like the picture. My wife ordered chicken tenders and green beans, she got 5 overcooked chicken tenders (no sauce) and a baked sweet potato (not green beans), I ordered a steak with the salad bar, the salad bar had not been replenished since lunch, the croutons were stale, and the lettuce tray had just a few stray leaves in it. They claim to be voted #1 for the best steaks in Franklin. I just wonder who the voters were, certainly not me. Empty dishes were left on the table the entire meal. It was not a pleasant dining experience. We will not be back.

We loved sitting in the trolley car and dinning. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was excellent. The prices are very reasonable! We are from Raleigh, NC and were craving a good steak dinner. The Boiler Room was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend to give it a try!!!!!

We are leaving now from this place. We were expecting a decent, quiet meal to enjoy. Instead this couple of these screaming toddlers were seated behind us and no one was controlling them. Management should have said something to these parents. However, the service was horrible! Katie was our server and she was slamming our drinks when we asked for refills. Which were also bone dry. She never checked in on us. It wasn’t like it was a busy night, there were only a few tables. She was the only server there, but it wasn’t like we all piled in at once. As a server myself, I have to say you need to not be in this industry Katie.

My family and I had a terrible experience at the Boiler Room. We went to the factory and went in to get a bite to eat. Everything was fine the first 10 minutes- drinks were out, order was taken, we got our salads. Then we waited an addition 50 minutes for our food! Which we never received we just left. Every time our waitress came out she said your food is coming I’m sorry, which I know it wasn’t her fault but really what was goin on??? The rest of my family recieved refills on drinks too, but not me. My 4 yr old was so anxious to get back out and play we just told our waitress we was leaving. She said not to worry about the ticket which was nice, but it was a bad experience all around. I’ve never just left a restaurant and it was sad I was looking forward to it!

Bad service on my last visit two weeks ago. Had to find the servers to put fresh food on the salad bar. Bar was not fresh or cool. In the baked potato area the hot cheese had hard crust on it. Has note been attended to. The two baked potatoes we shriveled up and not edible. I wrote a letter to the owner Phil Drake about my concerns and waste $16.00 I paid. He or no one from the organization ever responded to me via letter or telephone call. I doubt if I would eat there again

This is a beautiful place, very clean, well lit, nice family atmosphere next door to a kids fun factory. As long as you aren’t expecting a Ruth Chris experience and don’t mind the absence of liquor this is a good place to eat. The salad bar is adequate, not a Ruby Tuesdays, but adequate. They don’t have the big steak cuts (12 ounce max) but what they have is enough if you take advantage of the salad bar.

This is NOT a steakhouse or Steak House. This is like Dave and Busters or other kids events or game playing buildings. While the restaurant is decent looking it is like going to a modern diner and the view is the arcades and indoor putt putt golf. The atmosphere is not fine dining or for a romantic engagement. while I did not eat the food and simply left. I give it a 3 because I clearly asked via phone if this was a nice Steakhouse. and was never disclosed about the arcade that owns it or that it is actually a diner that happens to server some steaks. I actually give the 3 because it was clean very clean, BUT The night I went there was a mini concert by a local singer and so the diner decided NOT to have a full menu. How can you have a steakhouse and not offer steaks regardless of whjat is going on or what day it is. this is the other reason I gave it a 3.
