We was here on the weekend if the 4th order our drinks an took 34 min to get our drinks. Then we ordered our food an it took 1hr 45 min to get the food. This is after we paid 75$ to hold a table and then have to pay for the food too. Sounds like they need to buy bigger cookers for the food. The entire outside deck waited this long

Perfect place for us to grab dinner tonight. Catfish D’Arbonne was good, but rice could have been more tender. Fried shrimp and fish was very good. Good coleslaw and hush puppies. Casual atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices.

Chicken fried steak was like shoe leather. Baked beans were a pate from the day before. Visit before this the meatloaf had raw spots. Never again. The waitress was great and did what she could being shorthanded.

We went at 1ish on the Saturday after 7/4. They close from 2-5, so they were wrapping it up for lunch, but it was packed inside, so we sat on the patio. Plenty of fans, but it’s still La in July, so ya gonna sweat. Ordered and they were out of lots of items due to vendors being on vacation and from the 4th (they were slammed then bc its on the lake). A couple items were wrong but they made it right-ish and comped what they couldn’t do for us. Took awhile but service is iffy everywhere nowadays so we just rolled with it.

Excellent, friendly, “extra mile” service for all ages. Chasity helped us today. It was SO hot and she was so attentive and kind. The location is unbeatable. They are clean, organized and they’ve done a nice job making the place comfortable and fun to eat at. Lots of art inside by one of the employees, too. Very talented. A real treat for us in so many ways today. Food was excellent and good portion sizes.

Food is good and advertised. Seasoned well, portions are good. Price point within averages for the meals. The building is a bit dated, I am sure a lot has to do with the lakeside environment. Bit tricky to get to navigating thru the hotel lot. Folks are friendly and engaging. Food was hot and fresh!

I have always rated The Bonne Docks “5 stars”, but the past Saturday night (at 5 pm) both of our meals were barely warm. We both got chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans. It was supposed to come with bread, but we received no bread. I asked waitress about it she said ” We are out of the right kind of bread”. Hmmm.

The food is always hot and fresh. The service is always amazing. The owner and waitresses truly care about their customers. Such a wonderful family that run the restaurant. I recommend everyone to try them. They do not disappoint. It’s a great place to have a date night or enjoy a meal with your family.
