Went to try the pork chops and of course they didn’t have any. Asked the waitress about items on the menu and she acted like she didn’t work there. Also, I understand that this is a Dominican restaurant and you have every right to print in Spanish, but for patrons who don’t speak it or read it makes it very annoying so the brochure menu was beyond frustrating (printing the descriptions in English would be really accommodating). There were WAY too many items crammed on it, so the type was extremely tiny and most descriptions are in Spanish (either choose English or Spanish or hey here’s an idea, DO BOTH – and just invest in larger menus). Went with the stewed goat. Decent portion, but the sauce they were in was way too salty, yet didn’t have any distinct flavor. Meat was super tough (not that fall-off the bone like I get from the Nigerian restaurant). I couldn’t even cut with a knife, had to pick it up and chew on it. The yellow rice was, well rice. The red beans were actually very delish and well seasoned. They could have kept the basic salad of a few leaves and one tomato and one cucumber, very pathetic presentation and it was served like in a bowl of water. We had to ask our server for it to be drained! When reading the menu, beware, the prices are incorrect and no one tells you. I inquired and just received a response of ‘oh, I don’t know why the menus aren’t updated’. Really? Wrong answer, we asked that they honor what they are advertising and they eventually did it hesitantly. Won’t be back.

My gf and I visited today and the food was amazing!! I had oxtails and rice with beans. Sooo flavorful. We will be going back. We went during lunch so they were offering buffet style only. The price was reasonable and the customer service was welcoming.

The food isn’t just ok, or average, the food is amazing. How do I know? Because I’ve eaten here enough meals to know. The first time I went through the door, I had no expectation, but once I tasted the food, I was blown away; the chef is grandma style cooker.

Took my Dominican dad here for Father’s day and he absolutely loved it. He has the Pollo Guisado and said it was just like how my grandma used make it. That is high praise!
