The Break Room is a bit more than the local bar and grill. We had a gyro, gyro salad, and grilled chicken sandwich. They even had a newly created Prime Rib nachos that nearly took my pick. The food was better than expected. The new waitress was attentive and did her best to answer our questions. Better yet…when she couldn’t she attempted to seek out our inquiry. We had ciders to drink that were new to us and we couldn’t find them in the local spirits and wine location. The break room did us right!

Stopped in for an early dinner last Saturday and had the walleye dinner. The waitress said there would be a wait of 25 minutes but it was well worth it. The dinner was excellent. I would definitely go back again.

We were looking for fast food off of I 90, but nothing was open. We decided to try this place, and much to our surprise, they had great food and service. I’m glad we got to stop. It’s definitely better than fast food and probably got out just as fast. And we got to support a small business. Winning!

Great food and a friendly hometown atmosphere to hang out and have a drink, eat and catch a game on one of the screens. Staff was terrific and fast with everything I needed, brisket burger was delicious and I caught the football games I wanted to see.

Our group of 6 visited for lunch on a Friday as we were passing through town. With plenty of street parking to be found early to mid-day, we opted for The Break Room to fill our empty feedbags. We sat at a high top table that could accommodate us but found the fans and air conditioning was too cold for some of us so we relocated to 2 somewhat adjacent tables, thus we had to break our group up. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to sit together. Granted, we could have asked for some ceiling fans to be turned off but there were a few customers present, as well as staff, and they may have enjoyed the cooler air.

So the food is priced ok, the service was good but the quality of food is ehhh. Ordering a burger I generally expect to pick how I want it cooked or it goes out medium to maybe medium-well because that’s in the middle and pretty fair. Each time I came here and got a burger it came out charred and like a hockey puck. Without exaggerating my burger (just the patty) was crunchy and incredibly dry. Both times I ordered a burger it came out the same way. For two dollars more, you can go to the tap house (a couple minutes up the road) and get a much better quality burger. The jalapeno poppers were pretty good and the service is good. I just wish they cooked the burgers better and didn’t serve them charred.

Awesome service!! All employees were very nice and checked on us. Best soup I’ve had in a long time. Rest of food was great too. Was worth going out of our way for

Service was really slow. Got fries and all you can eat wings. $4 fries were cold and not great. We got 10 wings for $12. We actually wanted more. But the server took so long to come back that we just gave up. Never asked to refill our drinks. Never noticed our empty baskets.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. If your 21 and older there is no better breakfast then steak and eggs, and a tall glass of Guinness. I try to make it for wing Wednesday where it is all you can eat wings. This place has memories that are irreplaceable, and the staff are always friendly.

Went there on fathers day for the buffet. Everyone in our party ended up getting food poisoning from the food. The food looked forgotten and quite possibly leftovers from a previous day just reheated. Overall experience was beyond poor wouldn’t recommend anyone there unless they want to spend the next few days vomiting and on the toilet!
