We were there on Sunday around 12 for brunch. Although it was written that brunch is served until 1:30, upon arrival we were being informed that they serve the brunch until 11/ 11:30!! So we had the choice from ‘lunch menu’. I got a plate of hamburger steak. They had a few options from the sides – I got myself some turnip greens and sweet potato casserole. The hamburger steak was pretty decent, and the green erre usual. Sweet potato casserole was pretty ordinary, and the corn bread muffin was perfectly baked and nice. The coffee they serve was basic, and they keep refilling. Overall a nice place, although the service was very slow. The place was quite crowded too. Overall, a decent place for Sunday brunch.

Food was ok. Hashbrown casserole tasted like shredded potato with no seasoning or onion or anything. Shrimp and Grits were mediocre. Shrimp was well seasoned but rubbery, grits were like instant grits. Chicken was obviously frozen strips. Service was outstanding. Overall the service saved this one….

Just left this place after our first visit! Attentive and friendly service, and the food came very quickly after we ordered, not much of a wait at all. But the highlight of the experience was the food, which was absolutely amazing. The bacon was crispy to perfection, the cheese grits were flavorful, not bland at all, and the southwestern burrito was filling and delicious! My fiancee got the French toast and got a very generous serving! Really have nothing bad to say about this place at all!

Because sometimes you just need shrimp and grits for breakfast. Someone in the kitchen heard me wowing about the shrimp to everyone at my table, because they brought me out a whole bowl of them. Just because! I have never asked for a box for breakfast before. You are not leaving this place hungry!

I decided to treat my husband to breakfast at the Breakfast Club this morning. We were immediately seated but it took the waitress over 15 minutes to come and take our drink and food order. My husband went and asked for service. Turns out the same waitress who had wiped down the booth next to us was our waitress. Service wasn’t good at all and she wasn’t friendly. I’m chalking it up to her age because she looks very young but she needs to be trained on customer service.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I left a not so favorable review so I thought I would give it a try again. Whatever happened since last time, it is much better. The business name says it all. They do breakfast and they do it well. I’ve driven by for a long time and have always seen long lines. Now I see why.
