First time to Iowa and was recommended to this spot by a friend and after reading other reviews I was happy to go here with my friends. They loved the mimosa so I’m sure the flight would be the way to go. I orders the “Cowboy Killer” and it was a lot of good, big enough to share with someone or take half to go. Everything was tasty. Also I like the atmosphere here, they don’t take reservation but we were able to get seated right away which was good

First time at the Breakfast Club in Des Moines, IA and I am a fan. Everyone in our party had great food and drinks, couldn’t have been a better experience. The Bonsai Bloody (with Wasabi) was really good, as was the Bloody Verde with green tomatillo. The Shrimp & Grits was outstanding, with cheddar grits and Cajun shrimp and gumbo sauce. So many great choices on the menu, I can’t wait to return.

Wow. Best brunch in a while. There was a bit of a wait (30min), but on a Sunday at 10am I expect that at anywhere worth going. Service was great, food delicious, and the cocktail options were all so tempting that if we didn’t have to be elsewhere we might have stayed much longer.

The food was good. I’m a Plain Jane who loves her Iowa bacon and eggs with a side of French Toast. The food prices are reasonable. I loved the Mimosa flight. The Mango Habanero mimosa is tasty. Service is great. It was a nice place for friends to talk and enjoy a long brunch. There was a steady flow of customers with a 5 minute wait time. We went on the Saturday of Drake Relays. Parking is okay. However, the mimosa and champagne are worth it.

We are so glad we stopped here for breakfast. Great staff, service and food. If you like mimosa’s you have to try the $15. Flight. Well worth it. Also recommend the Juan Denver omelet.

We had the rise & shine burger and the crepe flight, both were very good! The smoked gouda sauce on the burger is fantastic! The tots are also great! Service was very good and the atmosphere is inviting!
