I have been coming to Broadway for quite a while now. You might not think twice when you first see it, but it’s a great spot to grab a meal if you are in the jersey shore area. Broadway has top of the line wings… “finished on the grill”. What is that you might ask? well I’m no chef but it’s exactly as it sounds, and it provides a nice crispy char to the outside of the traditional fried wing. Nothing crazy, but just enough to enhance the experience. The wing sauce is on the sweeter side but has a suitable amount of “hot”. Another plus is that there is a fresh popcorn machine behind the bar, and they sell package goods and have live music some nights. Open early in the morning if you are coming off the boats. Reasonable priced food and drinks and a comfortable vibe – I have no plans to stop my trips to Broadway when I’m in the area. As their slogan goes, “feels right.. tastes right.. priced right”!

Tried the gator bites. Really good but a bit on the spicy side. Drunken clams were so good we had to ask for more bread. The service here is really welcoming and attentive. Would definitely come back again.

Food and drinks were great, the male bartender is great very attentive and ready to serve you a drink with a friendly face. But, the female one, At first she was being nice she charged before she even let us know that she was going to charge us for the drinks and we put a $5 tip for the card and we were going to give her a $40 tip extra cash but before we handed it to her she looked at the bill saying that we put a $5 bill and she started running her mouth and told us not to come back. She did not even let us explain that we were going to hand her the cash tip and she wanted to be disrespectful towards me and my brother and then she started running her mouth with the other bartenders so next time let other people explain before you judge other people acting like our money isn’t good here. We’ll come back here though and we’ll see if we’ll change our minds about leaving a five-star review.

DO NOT GO. I was charged twice when I had my tab opened and I chose to pay in cash which I told the bartender and she said “It was no problem” and she assured my card would not be charged. I checked my bank statement and It showed that they charged my card so I was charged twice and since I wasn’t provided a receipt to sign, they won’t give my money back. DO NOT GO.

Even though I now live in Florida, whenever I’m back in NJ, I make it a point to stop by the Broadway Bar and grill. I have been coming to this location for at least 45 years since it was originally Neilleys Long Bar. Now granted, I was only 5 years old at the time, but that didn’t stop my father from loading up my big wheel and telling me to be careful when playing in the parking lot.
