Arrived around 1:00 Saturday afternoon, good crowd but seated right away – table for 1. New model is great – scan menu, system knows your table, place order and wait. Endless coffee and water comes right away, servers are friendly and the food is really good. The omelette with mushrooms and sauteed onions – really good. Breakfast serving was perfect with two slices of toast and I chose french fries.

The mushroom po’boy was what dreams are made of! I want the recipe, they packed so much delicious flavor into their mushrooms. Also, the pickles on this sandwich were delicious. I could eat this weekly, if we lived closer. As vegans, it was great to have multiple options to choose from on their menu. The staff was kind and made sure we had plenty of coffee and water! Easy ordering system using the QR code for your table.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat before a day exploring and so happy that we did! I’d never heard of the restaurant before it popped up on a google search. The food was great! My husband got a lavendar old fashioned and said it was the smoothest old fashioned he’s ever had. Kudos! My salad was fresh and my husbands burger was so well prepared. Will definitely be back!

It’s a really tight space so getting in on a Sunday at brunch was a long wait, but very worth it. Both times I got the vegan poutine and mushroom po’boy and I dream about this sandwich! Would really recommend if you’re a fan of rye bread and pickles.

maybe my expectation was too high for the poutine because I know this is a poutine shop opened by Canadian. I was disappointed with the food, the gravy was way too salty and the cut of fries weren’t full, i had a bunch of small bits and make the poutine too greasey and too salty. maybe i was unlucky, and being the Canadian that I am, I’ll probably have to go again to try my luck, hopefully it will be the good stuff waiting for me

This place is nice, with a decent, but limited, breakfast menu. The folks are nice, but the seating is horrible. My party of 3 was considered a larger party and took over an hour to be seated indoors. Please see if they take reservations for Saturdays if your party is over 2 folk. Additionally, they have a decent, limited coffee menu, but due to scheduling/staffing, their batista may not be there which will limit you to plain coffee.

This restaurant has a special place in my heart. It has been in Corktown for over 12 years and I used to come here all the time with friends because it was the only breakfast spot with veggie options around. Still amazing but they service alcohol now. I was pleasantly surprised to see their menu hasn’t changed much which is a good thing because it was always a creative and tasty menu. AND they support other local Detroit businesses and farms. ☀️

We are from out of town and we were looking for a breakfast place that didn’t feel overwhelming. The fact that they had tea on the menu made me choose the place. I love tea and usually my options are black, green or decaf. I had a delicious chai latte. The food was spectacular. I don’t eat a huge breakfast so my husband and I ordered a traditional breakfast and a side of eggs. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. This place is cozy kitschy, the staff are very friendly and welcoming!!!! I will come back whenever I am in town!
