When you first walk through the entrance you walk through a small butcher shop with many different types for meat. The prices looked fair. Then you walk to the back part of the shop and there is the restraunt. We were a little hesitant at first but we were all glad we stayed. The food was amazing and the staff was great. It has a good small town restaurant feel.

First time actually eating at The Buck Stops Here. I actually ordered something else, but my husband got the pulled pork sandwich. Once I saw his come out, I knew I made a mistake and immediately ordered one for myself with Coleslaw I added to it. It’s was absolutely delicious. Jamie was our waitress and she was so nice and wonderful.

We’ve been coming to Pagosa for a few years now and decided to try a new place. Very disappointed in our food. The Bison burger was very dry and overcooked. The regular burger was just okay. The elk sausage was pretty good. The cocktails were the best thing we had with our dinner. We really wanted to like it since there aren’t a ton of restaurants in Pagosa. Hopefully things will improve.

If you close at 7 why not allow customers to come in and order food? This is the second time I’ve come before 7 and been told I couldn’t eat here by an employee (Charity) … ♀️ what gives?? Closing 20 minutes early plus. When we do manage to get there and get a table we are rushed out because They close at 7… You should definitely change your info to might be open until 7…. Might not be. So Thank you Charity for turning us away we won’t even bother trying to go back again.

This place used to be the best sandwich you could ever find. Still tasty but they are the incredible shrinking sandwiches, years ago they were huge, now they keep getting smaller and smaller. It used to be they were so big that you were smart you’d only eat half, but they were so good that you would eat the whole thing and regret being over stuffed. Today’s sandwich wasn’t half the size of that and still left me hungry.

I picked up an order to go. The gentleman who checked me out was very nice. My very picky father ate the entire meatball sandwich. I had the Italian sausage sandwich which was delicious as well!! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town

We stopped in town for 2 days. Went out to eat one night at this place. Internet said it was open. Got there and it said closed till 16 May. They did not even have the decency of putting that on there google maps advertisement. Drove there for nothing, wasted trip.
