Friendly cashier. They have chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. I purchased the Mac n cheese, biscuit & jam, and the Budlong Original Chicken with Garlic Parmesan. The food was good, but the sandwich was Delicious. It took maybe 5 mins to get ready. The Mac n cheese lacked some seasoning in my opinion. However, the sandwich made up for it by far.

I just had to make my way into the newest location of The Budlong Southern Chicken since they have new ownership. It’s in the “District” food court. It was a bit of a challenge finding it. I really enjoyed The Budlong Original with the Nashville Hot sauce. Mighty creamy Mac n cheese was great too. I got the opportunity to speak with a few members of the new corporation, Craveworthy Brands, that took over operations. Another of their restaurants is next door, the Lucky Cat Poke Co. They’re having a Grand Opening August 10th and The Budlong is getting a whole new menu and will be offering various breakfast items. Chicken Fried Steak and Biscuits and Gravy will be introduced over the next month. They also have plans of opening 100 locations across the US in the future.

Tried the yo mama today and I was not impressed maybe if I try them again I’ll go with the chicken breast and not the chicken thigh meat was dark and chewy… the fries and bbq sauce were good and so was the banana pudding

It’s inside the mall. The girl working at the front is super nice and definitely deserves a raise. The food was not great. The menu said shoestring fries and I got crinkle cut fries that were not crunchy, and overall soggy. The Mac and cheese is not good at all. Tastes like velveta with bread crumbs on top. I also got the basic chicken sandwich. The slaw was too much, and the chicken thigh was fatty or something. Also the proportions from chicken to bread were terrible. Way too much bread. Honestly the only reason I gave it two stars was because of the customer service. The biscut was dry and the tenders were just ok.
