I am not sure how the reviews are so bad. We just ate here yesterday for the first time and either it was the best performance they have ever had or everyone else is kinda crazy. The food was really delicious that we had. Everything was nice and fresh (except the pizza wasn’t that good). The waiter that we had was extremely friendly and did a great job. The woman that greeted us and took our payment was also very friendly and we were able to joke around with her. The staff behind the food were the only ones that didn’t seem very friendly, but I was there to eat and not make friends. I will definitely return the next time I am in the casino.

My mother, girlfriend and I went to celebrate my birthday. We have all lived here 15+ years and wanted to try. The food was all over cooked, bland, or not as advertised on the details of each dish. Of all their options, there were only maybe 2 items I would consider edible if you didn’t want to leave on empty stomach. We thought maybe we would fill ourselves with the desserts, but they were not good either. The cheesecake was pretty hard and must’ve been sitting all day. We had never been ones to waste, but as the pictures show we had wasted a couple plates filled with food. When speaking to management about the food, they mentioned they would speak to the cooks, they disappeared. The wait staff let plates and cups pile up quite a bit as well. Over 25 minutes we had sat with 11 plates and a few cups sitting on the table. Between the food and the service, it was a very poor experience. My suggestion everyone, save your money. $40 a person for worse quality food than a mcdonald’s dumpster, is not worth it.

DO NOT GO We just went to the restaurant and they turned us away, because no children under 21 are allowed. Maybe you should put that on your website so we don’t drive out of the way to come to a place that we’re not even allowed to go to. They suck and they are distrusting and rude to my children.

Personally, I won’t be coming back. The food was very subpar. Selections were limited, and the dessert was hard like it’s been sitting out all day. It’s not worth the money. To be honest, the food was a lot better pre covid.

Smaller than other casino buffets I have been to but very good food, self service buffet. The employees are pleasant and helpful, used dishes removed quietly and efficiently. The roast pork and pot roast were great, vegetables cooked perfectly, good salad bar. My son loved the pizza, and the dessert bar was well stocked and delicious.

The Christmas buffet was overpriced and horrible. Soups were awful choice, meats were fatty. Food wasn’t hot just warm. It was mostly the same food as everytime I ate there. I will never pay that price again on a holiday. Taking advantage of people on the holiday. I feel bad for those who are going to pay more on New Years Eve.

Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious! I was really surprised that some of the positive reviews were really true, since buffets tend to be mediocre. Food seemed fresh, and each dish, as well as the desserts, were truly tasty! Only thing I’d say is that there are no COVID precautions. I would have liked to have seen some hand sanitizer stands around so people could sanitize before touching all the serving spoons, etc.

On both my visits to Mount Airy Casino Resort, I ate at The Buffet; where I had amazing service. On one occasion my family and I were serviced by Dylan who was wonderful. He made sure that our cups were always full. On my other visit our server Lenny took great care of us also. Excellent service!!!
