I recently dined at the Bull Pit and unfortunately, I left quite disappointed. The portions of the food were surprisingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied despite the high prices. It’s disappointing to pay a premium for a meal and leave hungry. While the ambiance and service were fine, the value for money in terms of portion size and cost is something that needs improvement. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration to provide a better dining experience for its customers. To make matters worse, the potato salad I ordered was amazingly bland, lacking the flavors I expected.

I try to support smaller businesses and I’m sure I’ll try the place again. However after about 20$ for a brisket plate that was 4/5 fries and the 1/5 that was brisket was (no exaggeration) 90% fat, I was left feeling cheated. I understand brisket is usually a fatty piece of meat but there’s no way the ratio of this handful would not disappoint any customer. I’m in awe of the fact that it was served.

Fantastic! My husband and I were in Hot Springs and just searched online for nearby BBQ. So glad we were in town on a Sunday and most BBQ places were closed – otherwise we would have never tried this restaurant, and that would have been a shame.

We got the loaded spud potatoe with beef it was enough for 3 meals out of 1 very largely portioned sauce not spicy or tangy just right meat was well smoked with good flavor we highly recommend them to anyone!! Good to have a good BBQ place in Ft Lake!! We’ll done guys!!

Our first time going to the Bull Pit was really good. I shared a pound of brisket (to go) and asked for two buns on the side. It was delicious, not fatty, good portion size probably enough for 3 sandwiches. The sauce was also good, I would personally ask for a few extra on the side if you get the pound of meat to cover it more. Nice job Bull Pit

Had the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches… flavorful without sauce but the bbq sauce was a bonus. The spicy slaw and potato salad were very good….topped it off with their banana pudding and ordered more to go!!! Definitely our go-to bbq place from now on!! Great cooking LaVonda and Michelle!!!

They have the best loaded potato I have ever had! Loaded with brisket or pork, beans, slaw, bbq, sour cream & butter (not in that order). I had brisket and opted for the spicy slaw, it was amazing! The homemade bbq sauce is delicious! The owner/cook/waitress was great! Excellent service! Also, the servings are enormous!!! Must try this place!
