Food is always good! The employees are nice. The best wings in town!!! They also usually run specials, which are always interesting and great tasting! Too good sometimes, I wish they would stay on the menu.

Ordered a 3-topping pizza to go on Friday evening, Aug 11th. Oh my goodness! When we got home and opened the pizza box we wondered where the toppings were!!! We ordered onion, black olive, and sausage and found maybe 10 to 12 pieces of each topping spread very sparsely over the entire pizza. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!

It was tough when they had to close last year. Couldn’t fall asleep to the distant, faint sound of bowling bowls slamming into pins, and pins falling to the hardwood alleys, replacing the sound of ocean waves crashing on the beach i used to listen to before moving to Ruidoso. But, wait, hold on, it’s early 2021, and guess who opened their doors last week, The Bull Ring Snack Bar! Being from South Jersey, two slices and a Coke was a food group to me, and i made sure i fulfilled that group daily. Finding credible pizza in New Mexico is, let’s say, like finding an authentic Mexican dinner on the boardwalk, it ain’t happening. But, to my sheer delight, this place makes an awesome pizza. Maybe it doesn’t have 1/2 gallon of olive oil on it, but after 60+ years of oily pizza, i can do without. I’ve tried every place in town, there are two that make great pizza, for New Mexico. The Bull Ring is one of those places. If you know Ruidoso, you already know the other place, and have damn good pizza too. I’m so happy you are open again. I don’t bowl to save my life, but i love the food here. Think of it as more than a snack bar, more of a A+ casual dining, with maybe a hint more fried food then other restaurants, giving their food a distinct and favorable flavor. Welcome back!
