I had this review as a 5 star because breakfast was great! It’s a cozy spot. I decided to ask if they would be able to make a certain cake for my daughter’s 13th birthday, and she said she could do it, no problem. Paid ahead of time. The day came for me to pick it up, and it was awful. The fondant was dry and cracked. It looked almost nothing like what we asked for. They tried to cover it with the foil pieces that did not work very well at all, and it was a disaster. I asked why it was dry and cracked. I was told they don’t know it was made that morning. Time to take the awful looking cake I paid $70+ for and she says sorry we have no boxes…… really? Just will never again get a cake from there.

What a lovely and unique bakery cafe in a small town of Knightstown!! We were on our way home from a trip to Chicago and stopped by this little cafe. Really satisfied with everything and especially the cupcake was beyond wonderful! Thanks for your great service as well. 🙂

I went for the strawberry festival and had a strawberry shortcake that changed my life. I’ve since been twice for breakfast. Amazing omelette. Amazing sausage biscuits and gravy. The cupcakes are top tier. The peanut butter cookie made my eyes roll back into my head in pure delight. 12/10 recommend everything I’ve had here. I will be back for the food and the service as often as possible.

A cute little cafe tucked away in a small town. Had a wonderful club sandwich and BLT. Reasonable prices. Great staff. Right off of Sr 40 downtown Knightstown. 25 minutes to half hour from east side Indy.

Never do a customs order with them! I had them make me 24 custom grad cookies. They taste old and in the pictures you can see the rest of my complaints. $60 for a box I am throwing away!

This little gem was a delight to the eyes and to the palet. There are antiques as you enter the store. The furniture and items are displayed in a homey style and not packed in tightly, making browsing easy. Then half way back you find a glass display case filled with tasty treats you have to try. If you are looking for a specialty cake for a wedding or anniversary be sure to check their’s out. Cakes so beautifully done that they’ll steal the show.

Food was very good. Dining area was clean. The staff could use some instruction on friendliness and small home town hospitality. Staff was very cut and dry. No words of appreciation or conversation. I felt like I was intruding into their world.

Friendly staff and great prices. I prefer the breakfast menu over lunch. The breakfast burrito are one of my favorites. Just make sure to ask for jalapeños. Maybe one day they will offer chorizo
