The Burger House Restaurant is a locally owned and operated fast food restaurant, with a “kick”. It was founded in January of 2015 by Jeffrey and Kathy Vogel, two former Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger alumni.
Adding to all that, the Burger House offers a great variety of beer and wine and to top that off you can enjoy all your food and drink while playing video lottery.

Despite losing the previous customers order and no manager on-site to comp the meal, I ordered fries and a strawberry shake having put in 20 miles on my bike. They arrived minutes later and were wonderful (as usual). I live on the other side of town or this would be my go to burger spot.

Not bad of a Burger Joint, had some varieties to choose from in Burgers I went with the Sunrise Burger combo, it was more then you’d pay going thru fast food drive thru but I didn’t feel completely ripped off. The fries tasted really good, almost enjoyed them more than my burger, next time I’ll try out the El Dorado Taco Cheddar Burger that sounded pretty interesting. The place also offers video poker and a few machines, and an outside seating area. They also had a small cooler of different CBD drinks if that’s your thing.

So maybe we had good timing, but the food was really good, we had burgers, onion rings and a shake. They did a great job, far better than I expected. Video poker is nicer than some, but the dining area was very clean and nice. I’d rather go here than any fast food burger joint anywhere.

Have had good experiences here in the past. Today was not good. They wrote gluten free on the wrong burger…the fries were triple salted and inedible..so salty they were bitter..soggy mess for food.

Over the several times I visited here, it’s always a hit or miss. But as a whole, it’s not my really my go-to place for burgers. Patties taste like they were cooked the day before (probably because the grill was not properly cleaned), fries seem like they’re soggy like they weren’t fried all the way (or put on the heat lamp for too long), and I really wished their buns were toasted so that it helps hold the burger better rather than leaving a huge mess from the first bite. Even the indoor dining feels rather compact. I also notice how many employees are there in the back, and yet it still takes more than twenty minutes to get one order of a simple cheeseburger ready to be eaten. Prices can be very confusing, and not really worth it for a small set of fries. Again, not the most ideal place to go to for burgers, though their fry sauce is one of very few redeeming qualities.
