This place is legendary. I can remember my grandma driving all the way across town for the fish (pronounced feesh) sandwich. Glad to see that some things never change. Hadn’t been back home for nearly 10 years. The tenderloin and the fish sandwich were still as amazing as ever. Don’t pass up on the Bush (pronounced Boosh)!

I ordered a BBQ burger and fried mushrooms. Was super excited I’ve heard they have the best mushrooms. My first trip here. The mushrooms come out, I bite into them and they’re still frozen inside. I sent them back obviously. They send them back out like they just dropped the same ones and return them so burnt they were almost black. I’ll never waste my time or money again. Horrible experience.

We walked in tonight to eat dinner 7 people hungry at exactly 7:20 we was told the grill is off and basically sorry about our luck. They are posted closing at 8:00 I could understand a large group coming in 10 minutes till close but we had 40 minutes. We left and as we was pulling out we had to tell two other cars of people their grill is off and they are not serving. They also stated well it says 8:00pm closing time. If you’re gonna post hours and not serve food till then you should probably go ahead and lock the door when you decide to quit serving. Won’t go back and waist my time and gas money for false advertising. Do better. How are the waitresses gonna make money turning away customers. 7 of us and I counted 6 more in the other two cars I could see. Probably lost a good $30 in tips and the restaurant lost a couple hundred in food sells and 13 people that probably won’t ever go back.

Use to get takeout often. Unfortunately, this was the second time in a row it was not good. Tenderloin is dry and bland. The salad that I use to get often that use to have boiled eggs, chopped veggies and all the fixings on it is now a bed of cheap iceberg, some soggy cheese and a few cubed tomatoes (same as last visit) Not worth the almost $12 it costs anymore. No cole slaw with meal. For $34 for 2 meals, it is no longer worth the money. If you want customers to stay local, you have to have a product worthy of it.
