The service was great, the food is amazing, the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there, may be family? This is becoming my go to spot for Mexican food. The area is very sketchy, lots of homeless and or transient folks around the parking lot. You’ll probably get solicited for money but if you can make it past that the food is worth it. Don’t let the parking lot prevent you from trying this great spot.

The vibe: walking in, the place is spotless and well cared for, but has character. Plenty of seating. Several HD TVs. Great visuals on the menu at the order station. Modern credit terminals. Friendly, welcoming staff, who are attentive. The food: phenomenal. Tortas as big as your head (see photo, scaled with my standard size mouse), yet you can taste all the ingredients. Not just about the portions, but they are impressive. Chorizo fries are their own meal. Sirloin burrito and chorizo quesadilla were fully consumed in one go, due to deliciousness. We will be coming back, and soon, and often. We had it to go; next time we’ll dine in. They have a short list of draft beer too, in addition to standard bottles.

We’ve been getting tacos and burritos for years from the butcher shop next door and I’m so excited they’ve expanded! They’re the best we’ve had in Raleigh. We’ve eaten here twice now, once in the dining room and once a pick-up using their convenient online ordering and the quality is as good as we’ve come to expect from the other location. We’ll keep coming back. I can’t wait to try the expanded menu!

The staff is great unfortunately the food is not. It’s my 2nd time here and it’s really not good. I would go elseware and I love mostly ANY Mexican food. Guac is too tart for the style, the quesadilla too stuffed with corn tortilla no good. Buretto was ok. Surprised at the high rating..

Food is good the only thing is they will ring your food up and go straight to making for food no gloves no hand washing will wipe there hands on a community towel where they are cooking raw chicken. Please use NEW GLOVES or incorporate hand washing.

Disappointed! With all the positive reviews I was really excited to try this! The plantains tasted mostly of oil. Tacos were good, but not as good as quite a few local food trucks. Kids Quesadilla had no flavor whatsoever.
