A real gem – Not gimmicky, just good food and good vibes! I got the raven (gluten free!) with griddled cheese, as recommended by the person helping me order, and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while! Ironically, I wish it was spicier… so, don’t be like me and remember to order hot sauce with it! My friends love their chicken-fried egg sandos, which is a GENIUS take on a vegetarian breakfast sandwich IMO. They also threw in a free sample of the mochi cake:) Moral of the story, go here! It’s full of friendly faces and in a great location for exploring Burlington.

OMG. I doubt there’s a wrong choice from this menu just go with your flavor palette. I chose the Raven adding a egg and bun and it was phenomenal. The entire staff were friendly and engaging and super helpful when placing orders there any donuts that are often seasonal. Also, try them while you can. I loved the GBC and the Wawa melon Choco donut too. I enjoyed a surprising Espresso Tonic Elixir too.

Fantastic sandwiches and drinks! We ordered the breakfast sandwich and the number nine, an iced coffee and the maple hot chocolate and the chocolate croissant donut. The atmosphere and decor of the place is so cute. Would love to go back!

Get the Number 8 Special – you won’t regret it! Probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. So good! Great ambiance, too.

Amazing. Wish we were staying in Burlington longer just so I could order again and again. The secret sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in my life. It was all so delicious.

Super-friendly high-energy person took my order—I didn’t know what I wanted, just told them I wanted some big egg and sausage thing. They rolled right through, explaining it was a meat-free place, and choosing for me. My breakfast sandwich was huge, messy, and not cheap. And *%#! excellent. Tangy sauce, somewhere north of two large eggs, great bread, and a green which I’m going to go back and ask him about (carrot greens maybe?) Other notes: Clear emphasis on as many sustainable practices as possible, reduced waste in whatever way possible. Music a little bit loud, but not as bad as some places. Very clean space. Multiple corners and sitting options including a bar. Well lit. And… now I’m about to go try some kind of sweet interesting looking pastry thing. This was a great experience, recommended!

Everything was perfect at Cafe HOT! The cappuccino was the best I’ve had in Burlington, and another person in our party said the coffee alone was worth a trek downtown. Our sandwiches (Nash, Secret Biscuit, and DIY) were delicious. The Nash was perfectly spicy – not tame (!), but not so hot that it was one note. The maple salsa on the Secret Biscuit was amazing! I hope they bottle and sell that soon because I want it on everything. The Secret Biscuit was a hit with our toddler, too! I didn’t try the DIY, but it got glowing reviews as well. We also split the smokey donut, which was superb. Not too sweet, with subtle smoke and a flakey consistency. Bonus points to the owner for handling our allergy questions. I wish I could give more stars. We can’t wait to visit again!

I almost ate the whole Nashville Hot before I realized it wasn’t a chicken sandwich. 4.9/5, with the only point off because they didn’t reveal their secrets for how to make one.

Had the chance to dine-in after picking up and trying the bonuts and sandwiches as takeout. First, Travis and Allan did an amazing renovation of the former Mirabelle’s space with plenty of seating and cheeky (and at the same time classy) decor. Second, the food is rich with flavor and made from scratquality. The brakefast sandwich is so good, servemilk bun with harissa sauce and adding the impossible sausage is great too. I like how they incorporate cheese into the scrambled egg and let it melt to create a yummy comforting flavor. You miss meat with these savory sandwiches.
