Made reservations for one of my birthday dinners. Deanna G. had the pleasure of serving us. She was amazing! She greeted us with a smile, great energy, very attentive, positive attitude, constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. My table was decorated for my birthday with a birthday card. I think this is a very nice touch for those dinning for a special occasion. I will definitely be returning.

We visited CG in City Centre for my birthday and everything was excellent! From our server James who accommodated a large party, down to the food /drinks and cleanliness of the restrooms. The Lamb Chops w/ coffee rub and NY strip with the Courvoisier cream was some of the best. The sides are big enough to share with 3 people. It is a bit on the pricey side but was worth it for sure. I highly recommend.

Not once in the four years I have been dining at Capital Grille have I ever been let down. The steaks, crab cakes, fish, and sides are all a treat. I have tried many options here and I mean, come on can there be anywhere better?! I appreciate there is a standard of excellence and consistency here! Birthday celebrations here are always fun for my husband and I. This is restaurant is the try jewel of our city and a testament to the Fine Dining experience.

I have eaten here many times. More than 30 times over the years as business brings me to Houston. The clam chowder was under cooked, Potatoes were uncooked, hard and cold. It’s usually a very good dish. I often order a filet for the expected consistency. It was burned, way over salted, and very charred (burned) outside, cold and raw inside. The GM DID remove filet from bill. This is welcomed and appreciated, but what a customer wants is a quality meal at a high end steak house not a discount. This restaurant has simply gone downhill over time as staff changes have accumulated attrition. So sad. Avoid. Bar tender named Kat was quite pleasant but under staffed and over whelmed.
